SC2-ROAD TO PARENTHOOD

TYRANT is THIWAT the father of Gulf, it is his name in the book 🤣

***

"Any plan on having your own heir? I mean no harm on asking this but, I think surrogacy is more better than adoption.. Atleast, it will come from you." Tyrant suggested one time when they are having lunch together at Villa Nattarine.

Mew look at Gulf first, before glancing at his father in law,
"Yes Dad, We are considering it now since the process of Gulf on having a possible reproductive transplant failed."

Tyrant irk his brow.
"Oh, about that, how was it?"

"I failed dad, I didn't pass the initial check up. My body can't take the process." Gulf look away.

"Come on baby, it's okay.. We have a lot of options." Mew held his hand under the table while cooing him.

"I can help you if you need anything." Tyrant suggested, "We have hospitals in Europe."

"Yes Dad please, We need a surrogate mother." Gulf suddenly ask.

"I thought we will still talk about this?" Mew asked him in confusion.

"I made up my mind, You go first.. Then if this process will succeed, I will have my own heir as well." Gulf's decision are final and no one can change it even Mew.

That very day, Tyrant contacted the people under his command in Virginia and in France to look for suitable surrogate for Mew.

Then after a month, they proceed with the process.

Gulf cannot help but be sad when they failed the first time.
Mew's sperm count is low.
The doctor give him medications, along side his medications for his erectile dysfunction.

Then, after a month of treatment.. They failed again.

But, Gulf didn't give up. He keeps on persuading Mew who already lost his faith.

Mew already suggested adoption but Gulf insisted on proceeding with the process of surrogacy, he said that if this third try will fail again, they will adopt.

But call it miracle when at the third try, they succeed to form an embryo.

Gulf was the first one squealing in happiness.
Mew was teary eyed as well.

He will have his son, in blood and flesh.

They didn't personally met the surrogate since it is prohibited to avoid breaching the contract that was signed before the process begun.

After a 10 months of waiting.. A cute baby boy was sent by Nattarika.

Gulf was so happy.

He is the one taking care of the baby. He is so hands on.
Mew was with him all the time.
They are happy and complete.

They named him Dean. It means Dainty, Energetic and Nice.
It's a wonderful name combination of Adjectives.
Gulf believes that Dean will grow up having these characteristics.

After Dean turned 5, Gulf started the process again on his own heir via surrogacy. They arranged and hired the surrogate mother of Dean.

All went well and ends well.

Dean, the big brother, met his little brother Narrine, his name came from the excerpt of Gulf's name, Nattarine.

Gulf, again became hands on parent along with Mew who didn't left his side in difficulties and Dean, whose very happy to have a baby sibling.

"Dean, can you tell Dada to make milk for Narrine please baby." Gulf said while rocking his arm, Narrine is uneasy. He might be hungry. He's sitting in the rocking chair in their front porch.

Narrine's  gums are swollen, Gulf knew that the baby isn't feeling well because of it.

The most difficult stage of being a parent is having his baby pass the teething process.

Dean, drop his sketching pad and pencil, then he immediately got up and run inside where Mew is working on his laptop.

"Dada, Milk for Narrine, thank you."

Mew stop everything he is doing for his son, In times like this Gulf asked his help that means, he can't do it alone anymore.
Gulf was the kind of a parent that he is willing to make everything all by himself.
Maybe because he grew up being independent.

Mew immediately finished making milk and he walk to the porch.

"You need help? I'll carry him." Mew kissed Gulf on the forehead.

"I'm fine.. Narrine has a fever. If this wont go after 4 hours, we will take him to the hospital."

That was Gulf's line each time their sons has fever.

But now, looking at them all grown up,  even had their own families, it feels fulfilling.

Gulf reached to hold Mew on the hand and pressed it against his palmed.

"How time flies really fast Daddy."

Mew nodded. "Indeed , look at them."

They both look at their family, happy and together... Forever
