Lexi's POV
The sun had set and it was getting dark. I figured I should start walking back home so I could start unpacking. I got up from under the tree and started brushing all the sand off of me. I looked up and was startled when I saw the cute blonde right in front of me.

"Hey. I'm Ross." He said.

"Lexi."

"Very pretty name for a very pretty girl." I looked down, blushing.

"Thanks." It was the only thing I could think to say back.

"I haven't seen you around here before. Are you new?" I really didn't know why this cute guy was talking to me, but I decided to keep going with this conversation. Because let's be honest, who wouldn't?

"Yeah, actually. I just moved here today. I live right over there."

"Oh. Well then I guess we'll be seeing more of each other. My family and I live right down there.", Ross replied.

He pointed to a house two houses away from mine. It was huge and very fancy.

"I'll guess we will." I replied back. I'm not really good at flirting...

"Do you want to come back to our house? We're leaving now to set up a fire." I didn't know what to say. Ross wanted to hang out with me! But my mom never lets me out at night. I don't know how I am going to get her to agree...

"I have to go home and check with my mom, but I would love to!" I didn't really want to tell him my mom was one of those crazily overprotective moms.

"Well Lexi, may I have your number so I know if you will be joining us this evening?" He is so gosh darn cute!

"Umm, sure." I gave him my number and started walking back to my house. On the way, all I could think about was Ross. I don't know why, but he looked so familiar. It's like I've seen him somewhere before. But that's not possible, because I've been in Pennsylvania my whole life. I figured it was just my imagination playing games. I reached my door, opened it, and saw my mom putting stuff away. Here goes nothing, I thought. This was going to take some convincing...
