Aizawa dismissed the class to get into their hero costumes, notably bakugou stood on end. Like he was a cat being spooked. It looked quite funny in your peripheral vision.
You got up slowly eyeing him as you did, packing your things, still he was unmoving. Izuku was on the verge of tapping him out of his trance when you stood above him and gave him a questioning look.
He looked as if you had given him the idea of talking after class.
You continued to the door nonchalantly waiting for him to start after you.And he did. Fumbling, and gaining a much deserved giggle from Izuku, that you could feel the glare he was tempted to give.
Izuku made his way past you, raising his eyebrows adding a quick kissing face that you smacked off his face, as you hand made contact with his arm.
It was just you and him, as he made his way through the doorway.
Playing with his fingers, making eye contact then looking away trying to find the courage.
you could tell he needed a boost of courage.
"Oh um, I just wanted to say," pausing a moment to think, then slowly moving his hands into a strange formation. "Thank you." He signed very sloppily but you could tell what he was saying.
when the hell did you learn that?
The look of pure confusion lit your face.
"Is that wrong, I hate the internet so much, fuck nevermind." He started to turn, you grabbed his feet with your quirk in return.
He turned to see you with your hands moving around in ways he couldn't comprehend. "No, the signing is correct."
"What? What does that mean?"
He's lost
You know he wouldn't use it against you but you kept your voice hidden for a reason. Vulnerability. You hated the way it was used against you in the past, so you took control of something, nobody could dictate for you. But you knew deep down you could trust him, even though all the shit he put Izuku through you still somehow trusted him and in all honesty you hated yourself for it.
So you brought it up, slowly and carefully you spoke for the first time to someone who wasn't your mom or brother, "You're right."
His eyes went wide, he looked like if you breathed on him he would fall over.
"Holy-" shit
"I have to-, Izuku, are you calling me?" It kept spilling out like you had no control over it, you liked the vulnerability it gave you with him and it was the strangest most awful thing in the world.
You turned to face Izuku who had just so happened to drop all of his possessions on the hallway floor.
So you walked, speedy, very speedy away from the pale ghost of a boy.
Once you had left his courage regained in his bones and he realized you were gone and he was left there. In the dust.
"Huh?"
____
After many failed attempts from your classmates you were stuck sitting next to Bakugou.Plopping down in the window seat he pushed himself into the bus seat. Though you did notice he was trying his absolute hardest to scoot away from you.
This is not ideal
If iida didn't need his perfectionism on a bus you would be sitting with Izuku one seat in front of you.
