Chapter one:The betrayal

"RRRRR" I checked my phone and I had a missed call from Brandon.

The things that had happened at my school yesterday still remained alive in my head.My eyes burned from crying , my stomach still churning.I had no one to call,no one to trust. Those who I had trusted pulled the trigger on me from behind my back.I was alone.Alone and just 16.

Brandon, a friend I have had since I was a kindergartener was also a part of the group who had hurt me so badly.To think it all happened just yesterday.

Yesterday my day was going on as usual ,but after lunch I saw my ex-boyfriend Sebastian flirting with my best friend.I ignored them and thought of why my best friend would be talking to him. She knew how bad he had treated me.Or atleast I thought so.

When I was in the restroom I heard many footsteps coming in.I remained in my stall and stayed quiet.I heard the voice of my best friend and a couple other voices I could not identify.That's how I had found out everything in the first place.

Then I heard my best friend say "my mom found out me and Sebastian have been dating for the past months".So then I stormed out of the restroom crying.

Why did she betray me like that ?She knew I was dating Sebastian at that time .For I had only broken up with him a few days ago.She never mentioned her dating him yet she agreed to date him even when he was dating me.Even though I had no feelings left for Sebastian I could not believe what she had done.

While passing by the lockers Brandon saw me and grabbed my arms.I felt his warm touch and started crying more.He asked me what had happened and I asked him if he knew my best friend was dating my ex while I was dating him.I stared into his cold blue eyes.He did not answer.I knew that he had known.

So I teared away from his grip and kept on running.
