I watched as Loki's glittering green eyes flickered in the Asgardian sunlight as he proudly proclaimed "I Do."
"Then by the power invested in me as Allfather, king of Asgard, I pronounce you husband and wife." The enormous assembly hall erupted with applause as I lost myself in the moment. "You may now, kiss the bride." Odin boomed, edging us along. A sly grin came across Loki's face as he leaned in and stole any breath that i had left in an tender passionate kiss. I lost myself as I kissed him back eagerly. He began whispering my name, "(y/n) (y/n)," suddenly something changed in the voice, echoing in my brain, "(Y/N)! (Y/N) are you alright!?"
My eyes squinted in the blinding sunlight as awoke, laying on the hard ground. 'It was... a dream? It was all a dream!?' My mind racing I looked up to see agent Barton kneeling beside me, "What happened!?" I stuttered, "Loki he- and I-"
"He knocked you unconscious. But don't worry, we have him in custody."
My mind was frantic as it tried to piece together what had just happened. Agents Barton and Romanoff led me back to the hellicarrier.
I sat in the medical bay, confused and heart broken, when I heard a sound of commotion coming down the hallway. And my eyes meet a familiar pair of emerald green, staring into my soul. And then he winked, and my heart skipped a beat.
My thoughts were broken as Director Fury burst into the medical bay, "Agent, what I'm about to ask of you is completely your choice, but I recommend consideration. The board has asked me to recruit one of our top agents to join the demigods Thor... and Loki, back to Asgard. And assist in assuring that Loki pays for his crimes."
My mouth hung open in shock, was he seriously asking this of me!? But then I thought of that dream, how real it had felt. "Yes." The words came out almost immediately, "I would gladly take this mission sir."
Fury nodded, "Then pack your bags Agent. You leave in an hour."
After gathering my things, agents Barton and Romanoff gave me a ride to the location were we'd be leaving from. As I stepped out of the car I caught sight of Loki, in chains, with a muzzle preventing him from speaking. Although he couldn't speak his eyes bore into me, even when I looked away I could still feel his hard gaze. And as i grabbed hold of the tesseract box, I heard a faint voice echo in my mind, "Hello love."
