We arrive at Mario's and we all walk into the restaurant. AJ spots tray at a table with his friends while the others are still looking around and she skates to wards him.
"Hey Trey" she says when she reaches them.
"Hey AJ" replies Trey without looking at her but knowing it was her by her voice.
"AJ, what are you doing here?" He asks her once thinking over the fact that she was there with him and not at home. He tries to stand up but a hand holds down his shoulder from behind him and he looks up to see Jenny.
"Trey Anderson, you are in so much trouble" Jenny says looking him straight in the eye.
"Who is she ?" Asks one of Trey's friends named Jacob
"His babysitter" replies Bobby teasingly.
"I want a babysitter, she's hot" says Jacob again looking Jenny up and down.
"Please don't tell on me Jenny, I'll be grounded a really long time" Trey pleads looking at her with dreamy eyes.
"Probably till your eighteen" replies Lola trailing off at he end.
"Who are you ?" Asks Trey in confusion.
"Technically, I'm your babysitter but thanks to some things, everything went downhill" She says while looking at her nails.
"You didn't need help to do that" repies Jenny snarkily.
"What happened ?" He asked confused looking at Jenny and Lola.
"They drove mom's car out to the city and it got towed" replies AJ to his question.
"You drove my mom's new car ?" He asks in shock.
"Yes, to come get you and then it got towed." Replies Lola to his question and Trey just laughs.
"Hey Trey" greets Emily looking at him with a dreamy smile.
"Jenny, do you think you could go with me to pay for the pizza" pleads Trey.
"Sure thing Trey" she agrees following him to the counter.
"Ugh ! what does he see in her ?" Mutters Emily angrily sitting down in Trey's seat next to Jacob, who stands up and let's Lola sit.
"You like him right ?" Asks Lola making Emily look up in surprise but she answers truthfully, "yes, I do but I'm too much of a dork for him to notice me or even choose me over my sister".
"Well one thing I've learnt is that, no boy is worth changing yourself for or comparing yourself with others, that just lowers your self esteem and no boy is worth that. Just be your true self and if he doesn't realize how much of an amazing girl you are, then he's not worth it okay ? Besides, all boys are dorks" says Lola trying to cheer her up.
"Yeah, they are" Emily chuckles softly.Author note :
I wrote this chapter to pinpoint to girls out there that you shouldn't have to change yourself for any man to like you, if he's not satisfied then that's on him. You're all strong, independent women and if he or that one guy can't see that then he's not worth it, plus there are so much more many fishes in the sea loves 🦋✨
Until now, I didn't realise that people actually read this book. Thank you so much for 41 reads y'all.
Someone commented to update and I've had this one in my drafts since last year so I decided to post it. I'll also be updating all my other books.I'll get started on writing the other chapters of this book 💕
