"Your breath smells like pizza." Laur giggled at the boy trying to kiss her.

"Well, so does yours." He replied, connecting his lips to hers.

"Ew gross, I miss when you two were awkward and not all over each other." Shay said, walking into the room with Calum.

"Who's all over who?" Ashton questioned walking holding Nia's hand.

"Laur and Mike." Cal replied.

"Ever since they kissed the other day, they've been attached to the hip." Shay said, rolling her eyes.

"Ever since they what?! Why am I just now finding out? Are you guys dating now? How did you ask her out? Oh my gosh this is so exciting" Nia asked, shocked. Laur just buried her face into Michael's chest and he just shook his head, letting out a chuckle.

"Took you long enough Mike. Glad you finally made a move." Ash said, patting his back.

"Um actually, she made the first move." Michael responded, scratching the back of his neck.

"Damn you go girl." Ashton retorted, giving her a proud smile.

"So what are we doing today?" Cal questioned.

"Well me and Mike are going to watch movies all day. So if you all could get out, that would be wonderful. Thanks, I love you guys so much." Laur said, fake smiling at them.

"You heard the woman, let's go." Ashton said getting up and leaving, the group following.

"Use protection!" Cal said, winking as he shut the door.

"We need different friends." Michael said, rolling his eyes

"We really do." Laur giggled.

The four of them piled out of Laurs room. All a bit lost on what to do now that they were kicked out of their usual hangout place.

"I'm just saying, this wouldn't have happened if Shay wasn't here." Calum said.

"How is this even remotely my fault?" Shay asked, confused.

Calum shrugged, "I don't know. I had to blame someone."

"You are such a dick sometimes." Shay hissed.

"Yeah, cause you're such a saint." Calum retorted, rolling his eyes.

Shay stared at him. "What the hell is your problem?" She asked, calmly.

Calum didn't respond, "Jesus, whatever dude. Just don't come crawling back." Shay spits out at him, before walking off.

"You are such an idiot." Ashton sighed.

"Oh come off it. How is this my fault again?" Calum seethed.

Nia stayed quiet for a moment. "Cal?" She asked calmly.

"Yeah, Nia?" He responded, still agitated.

"Do you like Shay?"

Calum was caught off guard by her question. Not entirely certain on what the correct answer is. Of course, he liked her. But it wasn't that simple. Instead of answering, he just shrugged.

"It's not such a difficult question. Yes or no?" Nia added, her voice rising slightly, "I'm hoping you're gonna say yes, seeing as you almost had your tongue down her throat a few days ago."

Calum's face turned pink, "I like her. I just-" He said, before falling silent. Never finishing his sentence.

"You just what mate?" Ashton asked, growing impatient.

"I care." Calum quietly said.

Nia gave him a sympathetic look. "Maybe you should tell her that instead of blowing up at her for no reason." She advised him.

Calum nodded and gazed at the direction she had run off too.

Ashton gave him a light shove, "Just go, mate."

Shay was laying in her bed, mindlessly looking at the tv. When suddenly Calum burst in.

"Ever heard of knocking?" Shay asked, not bothering to look up from the screen.

Calum ignored her question and just sat down next to her.

"We need to talk." He stated.

Shay rolled her eyes, "I really don't have anything to say to you right now." She said,

"Yeah, well. I do." He sighed.

The room stayed silent for a moment. "Talk then. No need to build suspense." Shay grumbled.

"I like that show." Cal said, distracting her from his earlier statement.

Shay responded by turning the TV off. "Honestly Calum. Either you say what's on your mind or you fuck off. I'm not in the mood for your bullshit." She hissed.

"I'm sorry." Calum said.

Shay looked at him, not bothering to respond to his apology.

"I was a dick." He continued.

"Yeah, well. That's nothing new." Shay sighed.

Calum stayed quiet again, gathering his courage.

"Fuck it." He said under his breath, before leaning in and kissing her.

Shay immediately jumped back and slapped him in the face.

"What the fuck, Calum?" She hissed.

Calum held a hand to his face, "Okay, that was a reaction. I guess that wasn't the way to go about it." He murmured.

"The way to go about what? Bitching at me and then randomly kissing me?" She scoffed.

"I like you." Calum blurted. "That's what I was trying to say, or well show." He suddenly feigned interest in the wall, not daring to make eye-contact.

"Why are you like this?" She sighed. "I like you too, asshole." She bumped his side.

Calum frowned, "Why didn't you let me kiss you, then?"

Shay laughed at him. "Because you never showed or told me you liked me, you idiot." She snorted.

"So, you're telling me I can kiss you?" he asked with a smirk.

"Obviously, smart-" Shay started before being cut off by Cal's lips.

"This is so much better than arguing." Calum whispered before leaning back in...
