"Dude let go!" Felix shouted, wrenching his arm out of Jeongin's hold. He turned back but he couldn't see the man that saved him. They were so far away that he could only see black dots. Felix felt so disappointed. That voice was so smooth and deep. He really wanted to see the person's face. "What the hell was that about? You guys didn't even let me thank him"
"That was Christopher Bang and he's bad news" Jeongin said. He was relieved that they got Felix away fast. If Felix remembered what Chan did to him, then things were bound to go haywire. There were two options. Either Felix hates Chan and avoids him like a plague, or Felix remembers how much he loved Chan and won't be able to bear the thought of being without him. Jeongin prayed that if Felix did remember, what should follow should be the former. He didn't want to witness Felix being obsessed again. "You should stay away from that man. He's very dangerous" he said.
Felix didn't agree. How could a man with such a nice voice be dangerous? "I think I've heard that name before on TV. Isn't he the CEO of Min Technologies?"
Jeongin nodded. "He is but you should really stay away from him. Don't talk to him. Don't smile at him. Don't even look at him. If he goes left, you go right. Don't think of contacting him to thank him. Seonghwa will do that for you"
Felix thought, all those don'ts.... Weren't they a bit too much? "Dude there should be a reason to all this. Is he that bad?"
Jeongin scratched the back of his neck, thinking hard on what to tell Felix. He couldn't just tell him about their history together. He had to make sure Felix stays away from him for good. "He uh....well, Chris is kinda weird..."
"How weird?" Felix asked. He felt as if Jeongin was going to say nonsense. He was making that face that usually showed whatever he would say next is utter rubbish.
"Well..." He suddenly got an idea and he was sure that it would scare Felix. He recalled the time Felix had paid him a visit when he was in college. He and Felix followed some friends to a gay club. What they didn't know though, was that it wasn't a normal gay club. It was a BDSM gay club. The things they saw that night were enough to scar them for life. Felix was so frightened he fainted on the spot.
"You see... Chris is part of the SM circle" Jeongin said, not hesitating to taint the innocent Chan. He deliberately lowered his voice to almost a whisper to make it seem mysterious and very important. Hearing that, Felix visibly paled and Jeongin felt happy, knowing it was working. "I've heard that he's a Dom. The extreme kind and he likes cute guys. Just like you. His last boyfriend was my roommate's friend and he told us that Chris is brutal. He can't get hard without inflicting pain and he especially likes role play so he made him wear embarrassing costumes and they do..." he purposely let his voice trail off, leaving the rest to Felix's imagination.
What filled Felix's brain were images of whips, canes, paddles, ropes, blood and he shivered. The voice that was enchanting to him turned slimy and sinister, as if it was laced with dirty intentions and goosebumps suddenly appeared on his skin. If there was one thing Felix was afraid of, it was pain. That BDSM club gave him nightmares. He wondered how people could enjoy those.
Not that he was judging them or anything but that lifestyle wasn't his cup of tea.
He sighed, feeling quite disappointed. "Does he really not do normal relationships?" Felix asked, having a tiny bit of hope.
"No" Jeongin answered, crushing the tiny hope. He continued to shamelessly lie. "I've also heard that he never beds the same person twice because they all run away. My roommate's friend was the only one that lasted three days and after that, he was sent to a hospital. Apparently, Chris is a beast. Stay away from him Felix. Okay?"
Felix sighed again and nodded. After all, there was nothing he could do. He wasn't into that lifestyle at all. Besides, he didn't even see Chris's face. Just that, when he was held in those arms, it felt right. He didn't know how to explain it. The embrace, the voice, the cologne. They all seemed very familiar but he couldn't recall how.
Thinking of it gave him a headache so he decided to stop. After all, he had no business with the man. He decided to stay far away from Christopher Bang so that the man would not even get any ideas.
Since Felix didn't mention it anymore, Jeongin decided to change the topic. "Seungmin called me earlier. He said he still has a lot of work to do and that he dropped JJ with his brother at the police station. My secretary will take you there. Just take JJ back to the hotel with you. I'll come pick him up after dinner"
The mention of JJ made Felix's mood rise. "Why not pick him up tomorrow? Jimin hyung and I will take good care of him" he suggested. "I'll personally drive him to school"
"Okay!" Jeongin answered right away. He didn't even need to think about it. JJ was now 6 years old and the little imp was an expert cockblocker. Jeongin couldn't count how many weeks he had spent without any action. If it persists, he will just shave his head and become a monk. Abstaining from all worldly pleasures.
"Dude you sound too eager to send him away" Felix chuckled. "Won't you miss him?"
Jeongin vigorously shook his head. "No way! In fact, I'll bring you his clothes. Let him stay with you for a week or two. I can't remember the last time Seungmin and I had any private moments. If he stays, I will go crazy!"
Felix couldn't help but laugh. They had already reached the car. Jeongin's secretary opened the door for Felix. He had already been informed of the situation.
"Take him to the police station then straight back to the hotel" Jeongin instructed firmly. "Don't let him go anywhere else"
The secretary nodded.
Felix rolled his eyes and entered the car, wondering when Jeongin became so overprotective. Back in high school, Jeongin just liked to party and gossip. Who knew he could be so reliable and responsible. It almost didn't feel like him. Felix thought that maybe it's because Jeongin is now a family man. After all, people change when they have their own families.
After an earful of warnings from Jeongin, Felix bid him goodbye. The secretary got into the car and started to drive.
Felix leaned back and closed his eyes. So many things had changed when he woke up from a coma. To him, he had missed two years of high school while his mates had graduated already. He didn't understand a lot of things and didn't recognise many people. He felt as if a big part of his memory had been wiped clean and it felt really weird. Whenever he tried to recollect, he would get splitting headaches so he stopped trying and just enjoyed life.
