This one is a bit short but oh well .

The atmosphere was awkward between you and Jake the next day .

Because of what happened yesterday between you , you have decided to ignore him and focus on the case .

You have found out on Instagram that the murderer is illegally selling drugs near the best polish restaurant and that people have to dm him in order to buy some .

You wanted to tell Jake about this discovery but it was just too awkward between you today .

You dm'd the murderer that you were interesting in buying some drugs . He replied right back saying to meet him behind the polish restaurant at 1pm on Monday . Your plan had worked . All you needed to do is tell Jake but you didn't know how .

After around an hour you decided to go to the roof to take a quick break . You looked over the roofs of the other buildings with your arms resting on the side of the roof .

You heard the door open . It was the person you least wanted to see right now . Jake .

Without a word he stood next to you and also had his hands resting on the side .

"So you aren't going to speak to me now ?" He said looking over the edge .

"That was a mistake ok? It meant nothing . I just don't want to break the friendship that we have ." You looked at him .

"It won't . I promise"

" let's just stay friends ok? And just focus on this case"

"Fine" he said with a sad expression on his face that he was trying to hide .

"Anyway I found out that he is selling drugs and I messaged him to buy drugs and hopefully we can catch him on Monday after the weekend"

"Great !" He said as his face lit up ,"no wonder people say you are a great detective"

"I know I am" you smiled at him

"So are we still on for tomorrow?" He said nervously.

"Sure !" You said smiling and walking back inside leaving him alone on the roof .
