Xavier's POV

My crew drew their swords ready to attack the lass."Stop!She's mine"I drew my sword, a grin spreading across both our faces.The lass and I swung our swords back and forth.She was trying to slice me but I blocked her swings.

I didn't try to take a swing at her it was against my code I could never hurt a woman.Even if this lass was good with a sword she was still a weak woman...wasn't she?Yes of course she was I would end this fight quickly and lock her away.

"Fight back coward"she said swinging at me.I watch as it came towards my exposed arm.Her sword slashed open my leather sleeve.All of my crew sucked in their breath and my temper flared."Ready to actually fight back coward"She smirked.I growled and stepped towards her.

Anastasia's POV

I slashed open the mans coat.I heard his crew suck in their breaths and I smirked.It appears the captain was fashion conscious.Well screw him and his precious coat."Ready to fight back?"I smirked.I could tell he wasn't giving this all he had.

When I was younger,before my family had lost everything, my father had taught me how to handle a sword.He also taught me navigation,to survive out in the woods for a month,and swear like a sailor,which my mother frowned upon.

My mother had tried to teach me lady like manners but I could not be tamed.I played tag with the other boys in the street,got into fights,and swam only in my undergarments in a pond hidden within the forest,and half the time wore pants I had the maid sow for me.

The captain started towards me,anger plain on his face.He swung his sword with a new vigor.A grin grew on my face as I blocked his blows.We swung out swords back and forth for what seemed like ages.We started to sweat our swings becoming less vigorous.

Xavier's POV

She swung at me and I saw an opportunity.I knocked her sword out of her hand then grabbed her wrist and twisted it behind her back."Let.Me.Go"She screamed,thrashing against my hold."Lock her in the first mates cabin."I said handing the lass over to my men.Jake stepped up to me"But captain!"

"Are you afraid to sleep in a hammock?Besides be a gentleman and let the lady sleep in comfort.Just because we're pirates doesn't mean we're not gentlemen" I grinned."Yes captain."Jake sighed.I followed behind my men as they threw the girl into the room.They threw her onto the bed and walked out.She ran after them but they had already closed the door.

"Let me go!"She scream."Yes you've said that several times but as you can see that won't be happening.So any other request?"I asked sarcastically."Yeah go to hell"she spat."tsk tsk not very lady like now are you?"I teased wagging my finger side to side.

"And you're a poor excuse for a man"She spat back.I closed my eyes and took a deep breath."Give her bread and water but nothing else.She can stay in there till I decide what to do."I said turning on my heel to go to my cabin."Oh so you're going to leave a me in here"she yelled."bloody coward."she muttered after I didn't respond.

I held up my facade till I was alone in my cabin.I walked over to my bed and collapsed.I rubbed my forehead sighing.After awhile I fell asleep.

Xavier's dream

We were on an island.The one that i had seen in my previous dream.The suns rays shone hot on my face however there was a storm approaching.The lass walked from behind me.She wore the same dress from my other dream.

She stared into the woods.The beach went on till it came to a line of trees that looked like soldiers guarding the royal treasury.I looked at the lass,her eyes were dark and emotionless.She walked forward like she was in a trance.I swore the trees parted slightly letting the lass enter more easily.I started to run after her.There was thick vines between the trees,that had not been there before.
