Zak decided to stay with me for a couple weeks after the investigation while the other guys went back to Vegas to find the next haunting they wanted to investigate. The last two weeks alone with Zak were some of the most amazing days of my life, he has treated me to dinner often, bought many gifts for me at my disproval, and even helped me to keep my house clean while I was working. I was sad to see him have to go back to Vegas in a couple days, but I should have known this would come to an end eventually. He's famous and I am a nobody living in a small Michigan town that hardly anyone even knew existed. As I woke up for the day, I smelled the delicious aroma of bacon and French toast being cooked. I brushed my hair quickly and went down to the kitchen in just the oversized t shirt I wore to bed the night before. Zak looked up from the stove and handed me a cup of coffee.

"Good morning, gorgeous." He said to me as he continued to cook while I sat down on the barstool to the counter.

"Good morning." I said with a smile as I took a sip of my coffee.

"I made breakfast today. I remember you saying you had been wanting French toast lately so I made you some. Sorry if it isn't as good as what you would make."

"You tried that's all that matters to me. Besides it smells absolutely delicious."

I got up from the stool and walked around to him, hopping up on the counter next to the stove. He swiftly turned the stove off and gave me a soft kiss.

"What is the occasion that you are making me this amazing breakfast? Cereal would have been just fine." I said with a soft giggle.

"I wanted to ask you something." He said softly as he got in between my legs and hugged me tight around my waist, looking into my eyes.

"Ask me what exactly?"

"Come with me?"

"Wait what?"

I raised my eyebrows at him, trying to comprehend just what exactly he was asking of me.

"I know, it's probably too soon to even ask considering we have only been dating for three weeks but, I want you to come back to Vegas with me. I want you to be a part of the team and travel with us. Every second of every day the last three weeks, I have been the happiest I have ever been and I don't want it to end. I never thought I would meet someone like you, let alone fall in love with someone in such a short period of time. If you say no, I will understand but I can't say I won't be disappointed." Zak said to me, seriousness spread across his face.

"Are you asking me to move in with you?" I asked him, looking deeply into those beautiful blue green eyes of his.

"That's exactly what I am asking of you. Plus, you will have a much cooler job than the one you have now."

"Okay."

"Okay?"

"I will go with you. I will join the team. To be honest with you, I never wanted our time together to end either but I knew I could never ask you to stay."

Zak passionately kissed my lips, pulling me as close to him as humanly possible, before pulling me off of the counter wrapping my legs around his waist. He spun me around gleefully at my answer of moving with him before gently setting me back down.

"Besides, I've never been to Vegas before." I said as I crinkled my nose and chuckled.

"You'll love it." He said resting his forehead against mine.

"I can't wait. Speaking of, when am I supposed to start packing?"

"Tonight, flight leaves tomorrow at 7 am. But all you will need to pack are your clothes. I will hire a moving company to come in and pack the rest of your things and have them shipped to my house in Vegas. Speaking of, I had better get that plane ticket purchased for you too."

Zak rushed off to grab his phone off the living room charger to get ahold of the airport to buy my plane ticket. I made our breakfast plates as he was talking on the phone in the other room, getting the moving company to come in and get all of my things packed and shipped to his house. I heard the continuous excitement in his voice as he talked to them getting everything set up, and it made me extremely happy to have someone that actually did care about me.

"Hey, sorry. Plane ticket is taken care of and the moving company will be here in three days to get everything packed up and shipped. They said it would take about two weeks for everything to arrive. I also talked to your landlord, and paid through the rest of the year so you wouldn't have to worry about that." Zak said as he came back into the kitchen kissing me on top of the head as he grabbed his plate of food.

"Thank you, for everything." I responded to him, trying not to cry at how appreciative of him I was.

"Any thing for you."

Zak leaned in to kiss me again when his phone started ringing.

"Hello?" He answered with a sigh at the fact he got interrupted from kissing me, "Yes, Aaron she's coming back with me. She's a part of the team now too. We are coming tomorrow our flight leaves at 7. Dude would you relax? I really don't want you to scare her off."

I started laughing at how flustered he was getting with Aaron, which got me an eye roll.

"They can't scare me away." I whispered to him as I got on my tip toes and started kissing the back of his neck where his tattoo started.

"Look, Aaron, I gotta go." Zak said as he quickly hung up the phone.

Before I knew it, he swept me off of my feet, wrapping my legs around his waist and carried me to my bedroom his lips never leaving mine.
