" I mean , you have to admit , as a fear of engineering alone this is impressive." Dustin said .
" what are you talking about ? It's a total fire hazard . There's no stairs , no exit and there's just an elevator that drops you halfway to hell " Steve said .
" they're commies . You don't pay people , they cut corners . " Erica explained ,
" I don't think this tunnel was designed for walking , and think about it , they develop the perfect system for transporting that cargo." Robin told her .
Steve , Erica and Dustin kept talking about the weirdly long hallway and the Russians as I feel behind .
" what's wrong ? " Robin asked as she slowed down to stick with me
" my head - " I say quietly and my vision starts to go blurry ,
" your okay , I can carry you if you don't feel like walking and want a rest " she says trying to comfort me .
" o-okay , " I say as robin bends down and I hop on her back as she rushes to catch up to them .
Robins pov
Y/n has been acting weird since the first couple minutes we have started walking down this hallway , I've kept watching her and she keeps rubbing her eyes and slowing down .
" what's wrong " I say worried , I can tell somethings wrong.
" my head .. " y/n says quietly as she slows down even more ,
" Your okay , I can carry you if you don't feel like walking and want a rest"
I say , " o-okay " y/n answers stumbling over her words and I kneel down to let her on my back , She's really light , i rush to catch up to the others as I feel y/n rest her head between my neck and shoulder and I could tell she was exhausted .
We were walking down as a voice soaking Russian started coming from the bag on Erica's back , Erica slid the bag from her shoulder and took out the Walkie-Talkie , it was saying the code , " a trip to china sounds nice , if you trade lightly , " I translated for everyone
" wherever that broadcast is coming from - " " it's close " Dustin said ,
" let's go ! " I say .
Y/ns pov
I feel a soft tap to my cheek and immediately wake up scared since I'm a little jumpy since I'm in a underground Russian building , " y/n ! " Robin whispers as I wake up to everyone staring at me .
" okay . Clear , clear , come on . Let's go . " Steve says as we all get out from behind the structure following his lead .
" that was close " Robin sighed .
" too close , " Dustin agreed with her .
"Relax . " Steve said " alright ? Nobody saw .. " his gift trailed off as we turned the corner . " what is it ? " I asked , before I got a look myself .
" holy shit ! " I mumbled
The room ahead of us was packed with the Russians , all in uniform , armed and some in lab coats holding clipboards .
" shiiit ! " Robin whispered as we all ducked behind a stack of boxes , we were all squished next to each other and I was so close to Robin hoping Erica wouldn't say anything so Robin wouldn't turn to face her and bump right into my face ,
" I saw it ! Fist floor , northwest . The comms room ! " Erica said , and I already know what's coming , Robin turns to face Erica and we bump noses , she quickly turns back and just answers from there " let's go ! " she says as we all follow Steve's lead .
We head into the comms room and Steve slowly shuts the door , and of course , a Russian guard sitting right in front of us , he reaches for his gun but before he takes it out Robin runs out in front of everyone and says something in Russian .
It doesn't work so Steve goes to his plan , " ahhhhh " he yells as he runs into the Russian guard pushing him over , they have a fight until the Russian guard pushes Steve onto the machine table and hits him a couple times , but then Steve grabs the microphone and knocks out the guard .
" you did it ! " Dustin says as well all look at him confused ,
" you won a fight ! " Dustin says , Steve and Dustin and bickering as I follow Robin up a staircase towards a shiny blue light , we get to the top and see a machine with blue light shooting out of it . " what the .. " Robin says as Steve , Erica and Dustin come and join us looking threw the window .
We all are finished staring and walk back down the staircase ,
" uh Steve .. where's your Russian friend ..? " Erica says as we all stare at each other and then a alarm starts blaring , Steve yells " follow me ! " as he runs towards the door we entered the room from and we peek out and see Russian guards rushing threw , I feel Robin grab my hand and pull me back up the stairs following Steve , Erica and Dustin ,
" holy shiiittt " Dustin screeches as we are running past the giant machine still running , Steve shoved a guy in a big yellow suit as we run down the side of the big platform and into a room . Robin and I push on the door so it doesn't open as Steve also leans on it trying to stop it from the many guards trying to come in , " go go go ! " Steve yells at Dustin and Erica as they start climbing down a thing in the floor , before Erica grabs Dustin and pulls him down he yells " I won't forget you !" To Steve as the door comes pushing open and we three land on the floor with the guard surrounding us .
