-At the laboratory-

When Yeji has finished speaking, she is quivering with terror. Her thoughts had been occupied by hallucinations of her being murdered by her ex-partner, but she snapped out of them after she felt a comforting hug wrapping around her. She was hugged by Lee Jieun, she then hugged her in return before caressing Lee Jieun's back.

Yeji was a devoted game developer for the company, but when she learned that Boss Lee Jieun, was receiving poor treatment, her attitude immediately changed. Since IU is a mother figure to them, Yeji is willing to risk losing her work to support IU.

Yeji spends her entire day researching IU and learns that her boss was a scientist. IU decides to quit the lab since her dream is to become a game developer. Yeji looked over the workplace where her Boss had previously worked. She discovered that she was collaborating with Kwon Jiyong, one of their town's top scientists.

   

She debated whether or not to do it for days, but one day she had enough. After observing IU sobbing in private, Yeji didn't hesitate to visit IU's ex-partner. When she arrived at Kwon Jiyong's office, she bowed respectfully to the gentleman in front of her.

Yeji handed the papers to the middle-aged man as he questioned her. Her birth certificate, resume, and other documents are all contained in the folder. providing Jiyong with sufficient proof that she works there. Jiyong questioned why she should work for him since she already had a respectable career in a flourishing business.

Jiyong was impressed with the female in front of him when Yeji described why she wanted her boss Lee Jieun to leave the company. After giving it some thought, he decided to support the girl since he also needed a spy within the company. After exchanging handshakes and leaving with a satisfied smile on her face, Jiyong engaged Yeji as one of his dependable aides.
