I was awoken by the horrible sound of moaning and groaning, my eyes fluttered open only to have them shut just as fast as I opened them. I groaned in pain as I tried to open my eyes and the sun blinding them, god I need to feed on something its been a good 14 months since I last feed on an animal.

"Jesus, do you not hear them having sex back there?" I asked no one in particular.

"Huh? Oh You're awake." said the mysterious green eyed blonde driving the SUV. I took this opportunity to study this human, he was lean fit and quite attractive.

'Damn right, he is.'retorted my conscious.

"Oh god, yes! Oh Yea RIGHT THERE!!"Michelle's voice intruded my thoughts. I shivered in disgust, she just met the guy a day ago how could she be already sleeping with him?

"How long was I asleep?"

"About two days and a half, Michelle said you had a concussion and that it would heal in no time, so we didn't worry about you, but your friend back there hes severely hurt and we should take to a hospital, so he can get his arm checked."

"Two days!! Crap we have to go back I left my bike back there! Stop the truck Blondie we have to go back!"

'Wow what a great guardian, don't even care about Kevin who could be dead,for all we know.Yeep keep thinking of your motorcycle while Michelle could be getting aids, and Kevin bleeds out in the back seat.You're totally going to be selected this year,note the sarcasm! Stop the truck tell Michelle to get off the joystick, and check on Kevin's shoulder,then go get your bike. Imagine Frank right now ha he'd be yelling at you nonstop on how bad of a guardian you are, ha his face would be red and that vein on his forehead would be popping out, phew I can imagine him already. '

'Your point is?' I argued with myself.

'Huh? Oh yea that you need to step in as guardian now is your chance, to prove yourself, so get up your lazy ass and do it!'

" I SAID STOP THE TRUCK RIGHT NOW!!!"

"I already did you are the one who dozed off, starring into space, not paying any attention to what I was doing." Blondie said, while putting his hands up in surrender, while closing my passenger seat door.

Wait my passenger seat, thats where I am ? how long did I doze off? I'm so out of it right now. I opened the door and stepped out, "hey blond-oomph!"instantly fall face first on the asphalt.
"Woah you okay?"
Crap. "Yea my legs were asleep." As I got up, I went to the back seat and opened the door to check on Kevin, well so much for leaving in the arrow, Michelle had managed to take it out, and apply some bandages good for her but she needs to change it.
"Hey Mich, hop off the rollercoaster and come change Kevin's bands." I said while knocking on this supposed glass in the middle of the car, splitting, the top of the middle seat ,from the back of the car,like a limo.
"Hey blon-."
"Dante my name is Dante grey."
"Ironic."I stiffle out a laugh.
"Whys that?"
"My names Anastasia. Anastasia greene."
Dante scoffed,muttering something under his breath.
"Whats the glass for?"
"Its soundproof, for .... Not my car, I don't like suvs."he said while scratching the back of his head awakwardly.
"Ah,gross. Mich! He could have aids!"
"Aren't vampires uhm like, don't get aids?"
I looked him straight in the eye," she doesn't know that," the trees leaves started to drop and not just the average 3 or 2 it was giant clumps falling. Looking around, the sound of a pinecone breaking drew my attention to the back of the car.
"Okay I'm out-"Michelle said while puting on
"Shh. Shut up listen, stay alert!" Another pinecone, the leaves started to fall harder in bigger clumps.
"Someones here." Michelle said standing in front of Dante protrctivly.
"No shit sherlock,leave him go protect your brother, I can protect him." I replied,standing infront of him.
I let out a loud growl, telling who ever it was to back off & show themselves.
'Werewolves, can you smell them? We're in there territory.'
'Glad you decided to help.Great here I am talking o my self surrounded by a pack of wovles.'
"Surrender or we will attack. I wouldn't mind having another blood bath, I'm sure you wouldn't either would you, Anastasia," said the naked Alpha male, walking towards me with a smirk on his face, his hands reached for my face drawing me into him he kissed me. Pulling away, I looked into his golden orbes,"Now Drake, that's not a way to treat someone, especially not when there boyfriend is behind her." I smiled as his eyes darkened, while looking over at Dante.
"What are y'all doing here, you know the treaty you can't pass through here with out a days notice. Tsk tsk, Anita I thought you learned not to mess with humans." Said Roxanne walking towards us in all her naked glory, immediately taking attention from Dante.
" I see you guys paired up, decided to join packs? Finally listening to 'daddy' ain't that righy Drake?" I said walking toward him.
Roxanne growled, Dantes green eyes were a blood red, his face was going blue his shoulder were pulled back his back was straighter than pin, she was controlling him. "I advise you to leave my father out of this before your little boy toy dies."
I growled, "Awh come, on are you still mad I killed your mate?"
Roxannes eyes flashed a pitch black, her wolf wanted to break through, I could tell she was having trouble not ripping me to shreds. I scoffed, "we're only passing through, we'll be out of your way in a few. " Roxanne let her hold go on dante, he fell to his knees gasping for air,as Michelle reached out for him & took him to the car, and started walking away toward the rest of the pack in the woods, " get me some clothes and get some for drake." Almost immediately some one tossed drake,& Roxanne a pair of shorts & shirt.
'About time she stopped showing off her body and someone gave her clothes.'
"Alright then, we will back down, but if any of you leaches hurt one of my wolves your dead." She said, in a venomously thick coated voice.
With that she shifted tearing off the clothes, and running into the forest with the rest of the wolves, not before looking back at me and growling, I simply smiled showing my fangs.
"I swear you said redheads weren't your thing, what happened?"
Drake laughed, " and I swear you said humans weren't your thing either. What happened?"he said in a playful tone.
"Touché."
A loud growl was heard, from somewhere in the woods, one of the pack wovles from their pack came out and ran across the street right to the edge where the forest floor meets the street, and groweled.
"I thought you said it was only you guys. You lied now, you have put my pack in danger-!"Drake said his voice rising.
"Sebastian?"I said interrupting Drake.
"He was here," Michelle said squatting to floor picking something up" I think you should see this Anne."
I gasped in shock as,I looked to her palm, in her hand laid his ring, my hand grabbed my necklace, his ring was on my necklace along with mine.
"You were right, he's not gone."She said just below a whisper.
"What is going on? Who are y'all talking about?"Dante asked.
"That's what I'd like to know as well."
"Nothing." I said to Dante, then looked drake right in the eye,mouthing "Sebastian."
"Oh."Drake said dropping the topic.
"What why does he get to know?" Dante whined.
"Because he can."
"Watch them for me I have to go get something."
"Yay I get to play babysitter again"Michelle said.
"Where are you going?" Said Dante.
I closed my eyes and slowly felt my self going numb, 'remember the gas station' I said to myself,ignoring Dante.
'Focus,you can do it' I heard his voice against my ear just as I felt my self being pulled, opening my eyes the gas station was in front of me, well what had remained of it. Kevin's camaro was totaled and a tow truck was picking it up taking it to god knows where. A few feet away I saw my beautiful motorcycle, I walked toward it and hopped on taking the keys out of my pocket, and listened to the sound of her waking up.
"Oh, baby girl I'm never leaving you again." I cooed.

I took in a big wiff of the air, letting my fangs come out, I could still smell the path we took,it was faint but it was noticeable. I began to follow the scent while, while I drove off,from what I could tell we drove out of California on route 66. Great longest drive ever might as well speed things up, I said while I went over the speed limit, 'I'll be there soon' I told Michelle.
