It was the next day and all Steve could think about was Eddie and how he found him in the stall. He never felt so bad for someone in his life. He knew some of things that Eddie had to endure from Jason, he would see it as he walked around campus. But of course like everyone, he didn't know how bad it was.

After he comforted Eddie however, he didn't see him for the rest of the day. It was like he just walked out of school and didn't come back. All he wanted to do was walk out of school and find him, just to make sure that he was okay. But he also knew that he needed space and wouldn't want to talk about every little sad and pathetic thing that has happened in his life.

Steve was ready to walk out the door, although he had to remember that he was supposed to pick up Robin. So he had to quickly ran out of the house to his car.

___

He arrived at Robins and she quickly got into the car with a bright smile on her face. "So you didn't say much yesterday about what happened between you and Eddie... So please tell me." Robin said as she got into the car and buckled her seatbelt.

All Steve could do was roll his eyes, he didn't want to just go off and tell people all of Eddie's personal information so he just stayed quiet. This confused Robin, usually he would tell her all the spicy details that would happen in his sex life, so why now did he choose to keep it to himself?

"Come on Steve!" Robin begged for Steve to tell her.

"It's not my story to tell." Steve said blankly, trying his best to not reveal as much information as he can.

When they arrived at school all Steve could do was keep an eye out for Eddie. Although he couldn't find his long shaggy hair in the midst of the crowd. And Robin could see that he was looking for someone, anyone could see that.

"So you're looking for Eddie?" Robin asked as they were walking into the building.

Steve looked at her confused then realized that everyone could see that he was looking for someone, as if he was in a relationship. "No.." Steve quickly said, trying to cover up that he was looking for someone.

This caused Robin to roll her eyes in disbelief. "You know, I've never seen you act this way about a girl, but you're acting this way about Eddie?" Robin paused while going over and opening her locker, "I think you like him.." Robin had a large smirk plastered on her face as she watched Steve open his locker then glare at her.

"I don't like Eddie..." Steve groaned at the thought of him and Eddie together. All he wanted to do was make sure that Eddie was okay, nothing friends can't do for one another right? But the sad fact was they weren't friends, they weren't even considered acquaintances.

"You were just looking for him like you were some kind of lost puppy dog. You were all over if he was okay yesterday. And you're telling me that you don't like him?" Robin scoffed and did not believe a word that Steve was saying.

All Steve could do was roll his eyes and walk away, he knew that she would never drop the subject. That's when he started to walk to his first period which just happens to be English. However when he walked in there was no sight of Eddie. This scared Steve just a little bit, it was weird that he would come to school acting so sad and broken and then the next day he did not even show up. He has to admit that would scare anyone.

All Steve could do was take a seat, the one that was conveniently placed beside Eddie, and think.

___________

Eddie rolled over in his bed that was in the back of his trailer home that he had to share with his uncle. Lucky for him when he got home the previous night he was knocked out drunk. He didn't know if he was able to deal with more questions for that day.
