I shivered, pulling my coat tighter around me. The ice lands were cold, as they should be.I landed in a icy cold lake. I saw some people in the icy land, and I skated over to them. "Hello. So, what are people like you doing out here?"
I saw a male with pink hair, long enough to be considered a girl. There was another, a nice looking and older looking male, with obsidian coloured wings. The pink haired male chuckled. "So, you don't know me?" he stared at my eyes, challenging my memory.
I studied him. "You're Technoblade, right? And, I don't think I've introduced myself. I am Eryn, Eryn Lycan." I raised an eyebrow. Technoblade, I assumed, looked a bit shocked. The other male looked at me curiously.
"Hello, I apologise for my friend's... rudeness. I'm Philza, and this is... Technoblade, as you've already guessed," Philza, I now knew, introduced them, bowing slightly. I looked at Philza. "You... never mind. I'll be going. I didn't know if you guys were doing something-"
I parried a very sharp broadsword with my longsword, a prismarine hilt. Technoblade had lunged and unsheathed the sword, ruby encrusted hilt glinting at me. I glared at him, sneakily trying to stab him with a small dagger.
Then, I felt a calloused hand close around my wrist. I tried to yank it away, but he didn't want to let go. "Impressive. Besides that, Technoblade, why did you attack her?" Philza kept staring at me, his eyes never leaving me. It was like he was talking to me.
"Phil, we don't know her. She may be a enemy! Why should we trust her?" Technoblade complained to Philza. Philza seems to contemplate what Technoblade had said. "Techno, it's true she may be a enemy, but don't be so quick to judge," Philza just pats Technoblade's shoulder.
I nod. "Yeah, Technoblade," I smirk. He looks ready to pulverize me. I just grin back, assuring him I'm harmless. If you don't provoke me. He seems he gets the hint, nodding in my direction curtly. I put my sword back in it's scabbard, sitting on a stool I had brought with me.
After settling down, I prepared to go. There was no reason for me to stay, if you know what I mean. But Philza insisted that I stay. "Then Techno won't feel so... Lonely, when I eventually leave. " I didn't catch the last part, because he muttered it. I raised an eyebrow. "Okay. Maybe I will, but only for a while. " I just hesitantly said after some prodding from Phil.
I set up a tent, and the next day, we sparred for a while, Phil giving us some tips and praise. I grinned. I was really good at swords, so I chose something nice. A longsword fit me perfectly, unleashing decimating hits when needed. I also had some daggers on hand in case. Better safe than sorry.
"Tch." I parried Techno's sword, rubies glinting in the light. My prismarines also glittered in a equally bright light. It was pretty and lethal when needed to be. And I could be merciless at times. Although, maybe Techno had a advantage, being a swordsman longer than I have ever been, maybe because... Maybe the rumors were true. He never died. He was immortal, I kind of realised when I noticed he never aged.
But the scars, marked on his face, said otherwise. He'd been in countless battles, maybe more than I have. But I am immortal too. I am the daughter of Hades, so of course I could be very merciless. Techno seemed to sense this too, not letting his guard down. But I wouldn't hurt him. So, this was the true power of the Blood God.
