(Set before Eclipse)

I snuggled deeper into Edwards chest as I settled down more than ready to welcome sleep.

"I love you." Edwards soothing voice spoke it's assurance into my mahogany hair.

"I love you too." I smiled, burying my face into his arm "How's Carlisle holding up? Well, I guess all of you are affected." I asked.

"He's holding up well. He's happy Esme has found her true mate but he's sad to have lost such a constant loving figure in his life. We all miss her constant worry and affection. I guess we never realized how much she truly did for us." he spoke with a deep sadness lining his voice.

"I'm sorry."

"Hey, you lost a mother figure too." he added.

He had a point there. Esme's filled that void for me recently. My mother was such a horrible person that I'm so glad she left me with my dad Charlie. I'm even happier he was transferred from Seattle police chief to the Forks chief in my Junior year of high school because it led me to Edward. The small hometown to my father was a welcomed change on both our parts.

Suddenly there was a very familiar scratching at my window and I practically tripped over my bed to open the window. A white messenger owl threw a scroll at me and took back off into the night. I shoved the scroll down my shirt and turned back to Edward.

"What was that about?" He asked, his eyebrows arching up gracefully.

"That stupid owls been bothering me the last few nights." I quickly dismissed "I need a human moment." I told him as I slipped out of my bedroom, into the hall, and into the bathroom.

Dear Bella Bear,

I'm coming home! The war is over and they've cleared me to leave (finally). I'll be home in a week. Can't wait to see you and dad!

Love you, miss you, can't wait to see you!
-Charlotte Potter-Swan

My sisters coming home! I haven't seen her in nearly a year and a half. Charlotte is a very special and very secrete witch. She attends a special school for wizards called Hogwarts. Charlie and I are the only ones that know about her (what we've affectionately named) 'witchy' side. We say she goes to this very prestigious school in England, to explain the accent mostly, so she's closer to her mothers family as we don't share the same mother. What we don't tell everyone is that her mother died when she was very young and she was taken by some guy named dumbledore to Hogwarts. She started training very very young and became very powerful but very controlled. When Dumbledore found Charlie he came and explained everything to him. Everything. He was shocked to say the least bit but gladly took in the then six year old Charlotte until she could properly attend Hogwarts. I was only two when Charlie took her in so I remember growing up with Charlotte always close by. All the while Dumbledore was hiding her from her brother Harry. She was livid when she started attending Hogwarts and found out about him. They share the same mother while her and I share the same father.

"Bella, are you okay?" Edwards hushed voice asked from the hall.

"Oh! Yeah, coming." I answered quickly splashing water over my face and stilled my nerves. I've got to tell Edward. I've never told him about Charlotte.

I snuggle back into bed, facing him, and wrap my arms under his and snake them around his body.

"I have a sister." I mumbled into his neck.

"What?" He asked sounding shocked.

"Well...technically a half sister. Her name is Charlotte and Charlie is her dad too." I explain bit further.

"Why, why didn't you tell me?" He asked not sounding angry but concerned.

"She's been off at a special boarding school in England to be with her mothers family since I met you. She couldn't come home during holidays because of...reasons" her being a witch is her secret to tell not mine "but she sent me an email this morning to tell me she's getting to come home this weekend." I explained not exactly lying.

"For how long?" He asked.

"Forever hopefully. She's done with school and is probably going to do some college work here in the states. I'm going to love having her home." I smile at him to show him my honesty and love towards my big sister.

"What does she look like?" Edward asked either genuinely wanting to know or excited to see my reaction to my sister.

"She's got my same hair color except hers is a bit darker and shorter and is really curly like Charlie's. She's got green eyes like her mother and is tall and lean. She's very fit and loves adrenaline rushes." I smiled at that last comment. "There's nothing Char loves more than a good thrill or a 'lotta bottle'. She uses a lot of strange British expressions." I laughed.

"I understand that. Sometimes Carlisle will spout off some expression from his English background." Edward chuckled into my hair and I yawned loudly.

"Get some rest Bella. We'll talk more tomorrow." Edward ran his cooling fingers through my hair instantly soothing me.

I fell into a dark, peaceful sleep.
