Mike and Will were currently hanging out in Mike's basement, as they did every Friday together. The room was silent as the two boys watched Ghostbusters, until one of them broke the silence.

"Will, i'm bored," Mike said, turning to the brunette boy. Will took his eyes off of the t.v. to look back over at Mike. "We can watch a different movie if you want?" He said, questionably.

"Actually," Mike started, excitedly, "Look what I got." He got up and ran over to a shelf on the other side of the basement, leaving Will on the couch. Will craned his neck to try and get a better look at what the raven-haired boy was doing, but failing.

Eventually, Mike came back over holding a stack of records. He sat back down on the couch next to Will and said, "I got new records yesterday." He looked at Will excitedly, his eyes glowing. Will chuckled at him. "What which ones did you get?" He asked his best friend.

As Mike started to tell him what records he got, Will just stared at him with a loving smile. The raven-haired boy currently had the biggest smile on his face, and he had this twinkle in his eyes that he always got when he talked about something he loved. Will loved seeing him happy.

Will didn't realize that he zoned out, so he was startled when he felt Mike tapping on his shoulder. "Will?" Mike asked, still tapping on his shoulder. The brunette snapped out of it and looked back at his best friend. "Yeah, sorry. I just spaced out." He said, embarrassed.

Mike smiled at him. "I was asking you which record we should play." He explained, looking at Will expectantly. The shorter boy looked down at all of the vinyls sitting in front of them and began to look through them, eventually choosing the album 'Count Three & Pray' by Berlin. Mike nodded his head and took it with him over to his record player, putting it in and turning it on.

The first song that played was 'Take My Breath Away'. The raven-headed boy made his way back over to his best friend, holding a hand out once he got to him. Will looked up and gave him a confused look. Mike blushed awkwardly, and asked, "Would you like a dance, William Byers?"

Will started giggling, but took his hand nonetheless. Mike pulled him up and they walked over to the middle of the basement. The taller boy rested both of his hands on his friend's hips as Will rested his on Mike's shoulders. They looked at each other with nervous smiles, both blushing uncontrollably.

As the song reached about halfway, Mike pulled Will closer, now wrapping his arms around his waist. The shorter boy caught on and wrapped his arms around the taller boy's neck, resting his head on his chest, and letting out a content sigh.

As they swayed to the music, both thought about how they should have done this at the Snowball, but then realized that being alone together with their own choice of music playing was better than having a whole crowd of kids glaring at them the entire time.

The song was coming to a close as Will slightly pulled away from the taller boy to look up at him. Both still had those big smiles spread across their faces and were deeply blushing.

Just as the song was ending, Mike leaned down and pressed a light kiss to Will's forehead, letting it linger. He pulled his lips away and whispered into the shorter boy's ear, "Thank you for the dance, my love."

This caused Will to blush even deeper and hide his face in the crook of Mike's neck. "You're welcome." He replied in a muffled whisper. The raven-haired boy felt his breath against his neck and he chuckled, pulling Will closer.

They stayed in this position for a while, loving the warmth of each others bodies and never wanting it to end.
