No Ones Killing Anyone

I hear the low rumbling sound of the impala and I quickly run behind the pillar to see if it really is the Winchesters. It is. I see Sam get out of the car, so I decide to step out from behind the pillar. "Sam." I say to him as he stares at me wide eyed. "Someone called about demons."

"I know."

"Do you know her? I think her name wa-"

"Alexys. I don't just know her...she's my best friend. And I know she's a hunter as well. Come on, I can take you to her house."

"Katie,"

"Sam, I don't want to hear it. I get that your a hunter and that's your job, but right now we don't have time for memory lane, ok? That demon has got my bestfriends boyfriend, and if he's dead by the time we get to him, so ones gonna get killed. And it isn't gonna be me." I say, and I can hear him gulp. "Come on, it's this way." I say picking my bag up and walking off the porch. "Do you want a ride?" Sam asks, I shake my head. "You don't really need one. You can get there by foot in like two minutes." I say as he shrugs and motions for Dean to get out of the car.

It was the longest, most awkward, two minute walk of my entire life. I could tell Dean kept staring at my ass, and Sam was just looking off at the distance. I decide to call Nathan.

"Hey,"

"Hey, how did it go with Alexys?"

"Well, you know how I told you shes a hunter right?" Dean looked at me with a confused face.

"Ya, and,"

"Well, she and Jason were out one night this week, and demons took Jason. That's why she was crying when I picked up the phone the other night."

"Oh, ok, got ya."

"And, uh, Alexys called some other hunters to come help out. By the way, I'll be getting home late tonight, I am going to join in on the hunt, so don't wait up," Both the brothers were now looking at me like I was crazy.

"Wait, your going on a hunt? Aw come on, at least tell me where your at so I can come help."

"Nathan, remember what happened last time you tried to do something major with me, even remotely close to a hunt?"

"Ya, I was a total badass."

"No, you weren't, you almost got killed, considering the only thing that can kill you, the damn thing had! Hey, look we are at Alexys house, so if you want to join then I guess you can. But don't let anyone see you until...you know, your good. Got to go, love you, bye."

"Love you, see you in a bit. Bye." I hang up the phone as the brothers look at me crazy. "What...was that about." Dean asks. "Oh, it was just my boyfriend, he knows everything, heck, he can even read my mind." I say chuckling. "Is this her house?" Sam asks. "Yep." I start to walk around back when Sam calls after me. "Where are you going?" He says. "I'm going to go wait for Nathan." He looks at me confused. I shrugged and ran to the back porch.

Soon Nathan gets there and isn't seem by the brothers. "Hey babe." I say pecking at his lips. "Hey, now I want to join in."

"I kind of figured that."

I laugh at his shrug. "Come on, furl your wings so we can go meet the hunters." He puts a jacket on to cover his black wings, and walks with me around front.

"Hey, why haven't you guys gone in yet?" I ask the Winchesters as they were sitting on the porch. "Cause she's not home." Sam says. "I mean, we could've picked the lock, but Sam didn't want to." Dean comments. "You could've just used the key." Nathan says. "I know that she's not here, shes out looking for Jason." I say making the brothers look away from Nathan. "She's out alone?" Dean asks, standing up. "She's fine. I know that becaus-" Nathan starts but I cut him off by a cough. "What?" He whispers to me. "M-mh." I say shaking my head in disapproval.

"What? What is it? How do you know she's alive?" Sam asks walking toward Nathan. "Sam. You don't want to know why and I'm not going to be the one to tell you...Let Nathan decide." I say making him step back. "Katie, we can trust them, I can read their mind just like yours. They won't hunt us down." He whispers to me but I guess that last part was loud enough for Sam to hear. "Why would we hunt you down?" He says giving us his puppy dog eyes. I hate it when he does that. Nathan, dont do this unless you absolutely want to. I think to him hoping he could hear me.

I look to Nathan as he nods, taking off his jacket to reveal his black wings, unfurling them. Dean reaches for his gun, when Sam tells him not to. "Katie, your turn." Nathan says to me reassuringly. I slowly take off my jacket, watching Sam as he grows wide-eyed and starts to tear up. I completely drop my jacket, and let my wings unfurl to where Sam and Dean both see mine and Nathan's wings. The first thing that comes out of my mouth is, "I'm so sorry, Sam, I didn't want you to know." He looks away when Dean quickly draws his gun.

"Hey!" I turn around to see...Alexys? She was safe. Just like Nathan said. "No ones killing anyone." She says, as if she has just came back from hell. "I need your guys help fighting off demons. Ok? Now, Dean, put the gun down and get over yourself, like I did." She says making me look back at her. "What? Are you telling me, that when I told you about this, you had to put a gun down?!" I say slightly yelling at her. "Katie, come on, if we are going to join in on this, I'm guessing we are going to need more than strength." Nathan says grabbing my arm. "I will deal with you later." I tell Alexys. I look back at the boys and I ask them, "What do we need?"

"Well for starters, how many demons are there, do you know?" Sam asks Alexys. "Over a dozen." She says looking down. "Dean, we don't have enough holy water for that, or spray paint, we ran out on the last job." Sam says then I start to talk. "We have some of that stuff. Well, more like water and a cross necklace and some blue spray paint, would that do?" I say picking up my jacket. Sam now looks at me. "Ya, that would do it. How fast can you get it?" He says making me smirk. "With me and Nathan going to get this stuff...probably about five minutes." I say looking at Nathan. "Come on, lets go." I start to float and then I look at the brothers. "We'll be back." Both the brothers look at me wide-eyed.
