Detention

Amity's POV

Edric always got in trouble, well more than Emira. Emira always acted as the bigger sister even though she was twins with Edric. But it made since. She was more responsible. Aside from all the pranks and teasing. She was always someone I could rely on. And she always knew when I needed insurance and when I didn't.

She was always there, and I'm grateful for that. But just because she was more responsible than Edric doesn't mean she is. Like for example.

"What do you mean you can't help!?" Emira said from the other end of the line

"I mean no, I'm not going to help you" I said leaning back in my chair

"You put yourself in this position"

"But-"

"No buts. I told you if continued this you'd eventually get caught, Now look what happend"

I heard the phone shuffle a little before the caller continued

"Oh come on mittens. If mom finds out about this we will never hear the end of it" Ed pleaded

"I'm sorry but I can't help. I'm already trying to ace this power quiz" I said

"Oh come on, pwease" Ed said

I groaned "I'm sorry but no, I have to much stuff to do." I ended with a sigh

I paused for awhile "I know you don't care but I really need to get this done"

There was a few seconds of silence before Em answered

"Were sorry Amity. We keep forgeting. I know we don't know how hard it is to live to not be able to use your powers in public but I do promise we care"

"Yeah mittens we didn't mean to force you or anything" Ed said

"It's fine, I'm just very stressed with all this work, Boscha annoying me at any chance she gets, and mother expecting so much it's" I paused again before continuing

"It's just very stressful" I sighed

"Hey don't pressure yourself mittens. Your way stronger than you think you are. Just make sure to not over work yourself.. again" She chuckled lightly making me smile

"And I'm sure we can figure this out ourselves"

"Right Ed"

"Yeah.. I guess-"

There was small 'ow' heard from the other side of the call

"I mean yeah.. Anything for you mittens" He said making me smile knowing exactly what happened

"Thanks"

"No problem"

"Hey no phones in Detention!!"

"Ugh yeah we got to go, See yah soon mittens"

"See you"

I hung up the call smiling shaking my head lightly

'Mothers going to be so mad. But at least she'll be off my back for a while' I thought getting back to studying

Emira's POV

After the recent phone call with mittens me and Edric tried to hatch up a small plan.

You see what happened was

Emira and Edric were running fastly down the hall. Trying there best to not get caught after another one of there 'perfectly planned pranked' malfunctioned and accidently activated and landed on the wrong person. While trying there best to hold their laughter failing misarably.
