Zak had set up a meeting to buy a large building near our house, because he said something about always wanting to own some sort of museum. I gave him the idea of having a museum full of haunted objects from around the world instead of a typical museum, and he ran with it. We couldn't cancel our plans because it was our final meeting with the realtor that was selling the place. When I saw the asking price, I tried talking Zak out of buying it and finding a cheaper building, but he was adamant on buying that building, saying that something was calling him to it. I had never had the opportunity to enter the building because as he was doing all of the business for it, I was keeping the show going by communicating with the Travel Channel agents and finding us new investigations to film. He always told me I was the back bone of the crew, and if it wasn't for me we probably would have stopped filming a long time ago. I guess he enjoyed stroking my ego more than anything. There's definitely something of his I would like to stroke-

"Sarah, are you ready to see the place?" Zak asked me, breaking my train of thought.

"Totally ready. It's nice to actually be a part of this." I said as I got out of the truck and joined him as we walked to the door hand in hand.

"I have a surprise for you, too."

Zak kissed the top of my head and wrapped an arm around my waist before knocking on the door. A lady with dark brown hair, wearing a black pantsuit answered the door, folders in hand.

"Welcome back. Come in, there's some paperwork we need to go over and sign." The woman said as she opened the door all the way and ushered us inside.

We walked through the building, that once used to be a house, and I was in absolute awe at how vintage and beautiful it was. Zak sat down at the table in the main room with the realtor, signing more papers, and I started walking around the large house. I felt my legs going towards one particular room, whether I wanted to go or not so I didn't protest. My hand went to reach for the door knob when I hear Zak calling my name from the other room. I pulled my hand away from the door, temporarily forgetting the urge to enter, and walked back into the room with the realtor and Zak.

"Exploring are we?" He asked me, raising an approving eyebrow and smiling at me.

"Sorry, I got distracted at how beautiful this place is." I said, smiling back at him.

"So, do you like it then?" The realtor asked me.

"I love it. I'm glad he decided to buy it. The vintage look and the size would be perfect for the museum, you have good taste, babe." I said, pointing at Zak who was sitting in a chair across the room from me.

He looked down, uncrossing his arms and letting out a soft chuckle.

"See thing is, I may have picked it out but I don't own it." Zak said, getting up from the chair and walking towards me.

"I thought that was the whole reason we came today? To sign the paper work for the sale to be final?" I asked him, disappointed that we didn't actually get it.

"We came for YOU to sign. You had the idea of the haunted museum, so it's only fitting that your name be on the deed. I bought this for you."

He grabbed my hand and brought it to his lips, kissing my knuckles. I stood there, in complete shock and disbelief that he bought me the building for the museum just because I came up with the idea.

"Wait, this building is mine? You bought this for me?" I asked, still stunned at what he just told me.

"Yes, baby. It is yours." Zak said, softly kissing me and ushering me over to the paper work to sign all of it.

I grabbed the pen out of the realtors hand, and bent down signing at the marked lines. I clicked the pen, and laid it down on the table next to the stack of papers.

"Congratulations, Sarah." The realtor said as she shook my hand, then turned to Zak shaking his.

I looked up at him, his blue-green eyes filled with pure love and adoration. My eyes began to fill with tears, happy ones of course, and he let a small smile creep across his lips.

"This is only the beginning, baby." He said to me, leaning down and kissing me with so much passion I thought his lips would explode.

"I don't know how to ever thank you for this. Putting my name on the building is a huge step, and I am glad you entrusted me with this." I said, tears starting to gently stroll down my cheeks because I was feeling utter happiness at him showing me how much he loved and cared for me.

"You don't have to thank me, baby. All you have to do is be mine forever. You deserve this. I told you I would always show you how much I loved and appreciated you."

The realtor had since left, leaving Zak and I alone in our newly purchased house we would be renovating into our museum. He rested his forehead against mine, our noses touching, tears still slowly falling down my face. This man had a heart of gold, and deserved more than me giving him the world. What I don't think he realized was that he was my everything, my world. I don't know what I would ever do without him now that he was in my life.

Please, come back I wanted to show you something.

I snapped my head away from Zak and began walking back towards the room that was calling me earlier.

"Babe, you okay/" He asked me as he walked closely behind me.

"Yeah, there's just someone calling me to this room. That's where I was when you called me earlier, I almost had the door opened but decided against against it so I could come to you." I answered him, my hand slowly turning the door knob.

I walked in the room, seeing shelves on the right of the room covered in books, while the left side of the room was full of paintings.

Pull the third book on the third shelf.

I walked to the shelf they were telling me and pulling the third book on the third shelf. The book case slightly popped open, revealing a doorway that lead to a staircase down into a basement. I gasped as I began to slowly descend the stairs into whatever the basement held. Why did it have a secret doorway? What could it possible be hiding?
