Arc 1: Us, Before The Tears

These will be small info dump sections because I have decided authors notes in chapter are goofy. This means explanations of plot points (if necessary), explanations of how I will be changing the plot (with as few spoilers as possible), updates, and possibly a more clear and concise way of showing and/or quantifying character growth and change.

Attack On Titan is a story where nearly every character that has a name has some weight on the series, be it as small as Daz or as great as Eren Yeager himself. Therefore, adding a character (You the reader) with high physical capability and a drive to protect people would clearly shift some things about the plot right? Right.

So in short, while some people are going to die, not everyone will. This obviously won't happen as much early on, you haven't got the strength yet! But later on in the story, you will be capable of change.

Also if it wasn't already obvious by both the original work and the mature tag, this story contains some less than savory shit. It's AOT, a story where violence is a literal theme of the show. Also I have a very poor filter, so a lot of swearing is gonna be sprinkled there too.

NO SEX. NONE. There is a level of romance, the spicy subconscious of yours gives you a fun mental image to put some thought towards, but no sex. It's awkward to write.

Now enough of my goofy explanations, there's details to clear up!

Story/Mechanics of the universe:

The curse of Ymir is now 15 years cause things aren't happening quite as fast. I also believe (most of) the titan shifters deserve better for their suffering. Simple enough. 

Shiganshina still falls in year 845, 104th Regiment still begins training in 847, and still graduates in 850. But there is now a year of time between Trost battle and 57th expedition. So the 57th Expedition now takes place in year 851. This gives more time for development after the first battle.

The Scouts now also deploy on smaller scale missions outside of the walls, these missions do not use the full force of the Scout Corp unlike the expeditions and can have a variety of objectives.

To have more scenes where a reasonable relationship can develop between your character and another, I will be adding scenes from the AOT 2 game as well as ones I created myself. Cause that year gap has to get filled somehow. Also expect the training arc to be longer, 3 years is a fuck ton of time for development.

You:

When the description hook called you a child of the North, I meant the fuck mothering North. Snow, dense forests, bitter cold, that bullshit. I won't say where exactly cause that's a major spoiler for those who don't already know where I'm talking about.

If you lore goobers want a better reason why I won't tell you right now, the bozo ass little 8 year old that made it to Shiganshina received head trauma several times making it past the titans and to the walls. He also don't brain the best for this reason.
