Ghostly Encounters

Chapter sixteen

The next day, Drake and Josh were in their first class of the day; history. 

"And who can tell me about the Salem witch trials?" Mr. Lancer asked the class.

Almost immediately, Josh jumped up from his seat. 

"Yes, Josh Nicolas?" The teacher asked Josh

"The Salem witch trials happened in Massachusettes. People were accused for performing witchcraft between 1962 and 1963." 

"Very good, Mr. Nicolas." Mr. Lancer said. Josh sat back down, feeling proud of himself. 

Meanwhile, Danny Fenton and his friends were sitting at the back of the classroom.  

"So, wait. You mean to tell me that the new kids got stuck in a dungeon in the ghost zone and you managed to stop Vlad to rescue them?" Sam asked

"Dude, that is awesome! I get more impressed by your powers everyday." Tucker commented

"And how did you distract Vlad, exactly?" Sam asked, giving Danny one of her looks.  

Danny, Sam, and Tucker were talking until Danny told Sam all about how he managed to distract Vlad and free Drake and Josh.

"Alright fine, yes, I hid the necklace in the far frozen. If anyone can hide something valuable, it's Frostbite. Also, he was the one who gave me the necklace. I knew that this would keep the necklace safe. If anyone can defeat Vlad, it's the ghost yeti." Danny said confidently.

"Danny, that might be true but the necklace is still with the ghost zone's biggest ghosts. If there is even the slightest chance that Vlad defeats Frostbite, he could become more powerful than ever before." Sam said

"Aw, man. You're right, Sam. I haven't thought about that." Danny said in defeat.

"Aw, dang. It's like we always manage to get into trouble." Tucker said

Danny was about to say something when his ghost sense went off.    

Everyone heard a loud crash that seemed to come from the hallway. The ghost alarm went off and everyone felt anxious. 

"Alright, nobody panic. This is probably just a school ghost drill. Now, everyone form a single file line and-" As soon as Mr. Lancer said this, everyone ran out of the school building in a hurry. 

"Or just do that. That works too." Mr. Lancer said.  

While no one was looking, Danny ran to a nearby tree and transformed into Danny Phantom. He flew into the school building. He wondered which ghost it was this time. Much to his surprise, it was... Vlad?!

"Hello, Daniel. I see you escaped from the ghost dungeon. Why is that?" Vlad asked Danny who looked shaken. 

"Uh, well, you see..." Danny said. He noticed that Vlad was wearing the crystal necklace. This can't be good.
