YOUR BACKGROUND WITH THE TEAM:
You've known the Autobots since you were 12. Optimus had crashed onto your ranch when he arrived at earth.
At first it was just him, Ratchet, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee but then Arcee and Cliffjumper showed up and warned that the cons had decrypted a message that apparently Optimus had sent out to other Autobots. You where annoyed at first sense you had no idea that he had basically sent out a invite with your address to a bunch of bots without letting you know, but you got over it eventually.
Since then you've supported the team. For the first few years you helped them hide in plain site. As time went on you grew closer to the team and they grew closer to you as well. Optimus became like a father to you. Ratchet a grumpy uncle. Cliffjumper your brother. Bulkhead, Bumblebee, and Arcee your best friends.
Eventually the U.S. Military found out about the team and there was quite a bit of conflict at the beginning of that fiasco. However Decepticons started to cause the military problems and things had changed so then the team and the military would actually help each other and work together.
As time move on the Decepticons learned of the ranch and blew it sky high, and went silent.
