The new employee

Chap 3

Y/n POV :
On my way home I went to say hello to her father and mother and then before we sat down to dinner Lizzie gave me a tour of the mansion which surprised me because I had been there more than once and knew it by heart. But during the visit, I quickly realized that it had a lot of renovation and expansion work. Once the tour was over, we headed to the dinning room and started talking about everything. When we finished eating Lizzie's dad asked me to follow him into is office to talk which freaked me out a bit, when we got to the office he told me to sit down which I did without flinching.
"I know that you and my daughter had an affair in the past and I would be willing to give you the job if you promise me that nothing happen will Elizabeth"
"Sir, I can promise you that nothing will ever happen again between your daughter and me, believe me I moved on a long time ago" I answer him.
"Very well then I give you the job, you can start from Monday at 08:00 am and I think that it would be easier for you if you settle down here during the week in order to avoid all this comings and goings" he propose me.
"In that case, I will take my things with me on Monday, than you very much Sir"
We leave his office and head for the door.
"Goodbye Sir and than you again for the meal, it was delicious"
"Goodbye Y/n, see you on Monday"
I head to my car, turn on the engine and head home. When I get home I call Chris and Andrew to tell them the news.
Guys guess what ? I got the job !!" I tell them excitedly
"WHAT ?! That's great, I'm so happy for you" they answered in a heartbeat
"So how do you work for ?" asks Chris
"At the Olsen's" I answer him with a touch of annoyance in my voice
" Aouch, it's you ex-girlfriend's house. How do you feel about that ?" asks Andrew
"Honestly I don't care, we got  together in college, it's all in the past. I'm just focusing on my work. By the way, when will you come to see me ? I ask them
"I think I will be able to come in one month" Andrew answers
"And me in 3 weeks" says Chris
"Great, I can't wait, well I leave you guys. The waves are calling me" I tell them laughing and hang up.
Since it's only 3pm, I decide to go surfing except that this time I change of beach not to cross Lizzie. Arrived at the beach, I change and go in the water.

Lizzie POV:
After Y/n leaves, my dad comes to my mom and me to tell us that he gave Y/n the job. As if that wasn't enough, she is going to live with us for the week.
"But dad, why did you choose her and not someone else, you know very well what happened between us two and on top of that you want her to sleep here !" I said with a touch of anger in my voice.
"First of all she has all the qualities required for this job. Secondly, I don't care what happened between tou two and she assured me that nothing will be happen again between you two. And thirdly, yes, she will sleep here during the week to avoid unnecessary trips back and forth, if you have a problem with that you can sleep in a hotel !!" he answer me with an authoritative tone and leaves for his office.
"Listen Lizzie, you're not in college anymore, you've both prayed in maturity. What do you want to happen ?" my mother asks me.
"Yes, you're probably right, I'll go in the pool" I answer and go to change.
"By the way, your sisters are coming on Monday and will be staying for a few months" my mother yells at me from the kitchen.
"Oh great" I mumble.

2 days later :

Y/n POV:
I finish packing my stuff and put it in the trunk of the car, lock my house and drive to the mansion. It's 7:20am so there a few people on the road which allows me to be early. Arriving at the mansion, I knock on the door and Mr.Olsen opens it for me.
"Hello Y/n, how are you, I hope you had a good trip"
"Hello Sir, good thank you, yes very nice there was nobody" I answer him
"Very well, I will help you to take your things up to your room"
Once my things are in my room, I put them away with the help of Mr.Olsen.
"Well here is a step done" he says to me on an amused tone
"Well, what should I start with today ?" I ask him
"Could you please clean the library and then go pick up Mary-Kate and Ashley at the airport, their plane is due to land around 2:00pm ?"
"No problem, I'll take care of it"
So I go down to the library and start by opening all the windows to remove most of the dust. Then I start to remove the books from each shelf to clean them, it's quite complicated to recover what are all on top because the ladder doesn't slide. I decide then to go to what to repair it, once the toolbox in hand, I return in the library and begin to to repair it. After an hour, I get there and get back to work, after removing all the book I notice that it's time to go get Lizzie's sisters. I get my keys and tell Mrs.Olsen that I'm going them up and then leave for the airport.
