After Y/N had kicked Billy out of her house she didn't want to see anyone, she avoided Max and her friends as much as possible the only time Y/N would see anyone was when she was working and even then Y/N found it hard she just wanted to be on her own.
On her day off Y/N took her little brother to the local swimming pool and much to Y/N's hatred of the place since Billy worked there, her brother begged to go so she gave in and took her brother to the local pool. Y/N held her little brothers hand as they walked through the gates, she lied her towel down on the deck chair and then crouched down in front of her little brother,
"I'll sit and watch you play in the pool, make friends and play nicely." Y/N told her brother as she watched her brother climb down the steps and play in the shallow end of the pool.
Y/N was reading her book but she couldn't help but look up to see Billy staring at her— he was admiring the girl who he liked but he had ruined any chance of being with her and it was his own fault, time passed by an hour or two and and Y/N's brother came out of the pool and walked over to Y/N with a smile
"Are you having a nice time?" She asked her brother who nodded her head with a bright smile "We'll go get some food after this and maybe some ice cream as well." Y/N smiled back at her brother
"Billy!" Y/N's brother cheered as he saw Billy walking over to the siblings, Y/N looked at him and rolled her eyes as he got closer to her deck chair,
"Y/N can we talk? Please?" He asked
"Shouldn't you be working?" Y/N said rather rudely
"It's my break, Heather is taking over." Billy told Y/N
"Mikey, go play in the pool please." Y/N said to her brother but he refused, she then got out he Walkman and headphones and gave them to her brother so he could listen to some music while Y/N and Billy spoke. "You have two minutes." Y/N told Billy
"I was an idiot and I am so sorry, Josie didn't mean a thing and as soon as I rang her I regretted it but by the time you left she was already at my place. Something was going to happen but it never did, I told her about you and how stupid of an idea this was and she left straight afterwards." Billy explained
"Then why did she say you slept together?" Y/N asked Billy
"Because she saw you by your locker and wanted to get a reaction out of you but obviously she didn't. I promise you Y/N nothing happened, I want you and only you." Billy pleaded
"How can I trust you Billy? Like I said the other week I didn't mind that we were a secret but I thought I was the only person you were seeing, how did I know this won't happen again."
"Because you Y/N Y/L/N are who I want to be with, we can do this properly you don't have to be a secret anymore I was stupid to even suggest that in the first place. Truth is Y/N I am in love with you I have been for months I was just scared." Billy expressed, Y/N looked at her brother who was still happily listening to music
"Eight thirty." Y/N said to Billy and he frowned in confusion
"What?" He asked
"Pick me up at eight thirty this evening and we'll see where this goes." Y/N told Billy who smiled and kissed her cheek before going back to work.
