Comments: Wow. And the emotional turmoils keep coming. Okay, this wasn't the most emotionally breaking episode ever, but it did have emotional breaking points. Mostly for Peng. I mean, I'm pretty sure Tai Lung wasn't all that bad, (and yes, I did see the first movie), but Peng really took it hard when he found out his uncle was evil. (And they never explained how that was possible which I'm still sore over. Growl). And then Peng puts on the medallion and it brings out his dark side which was scary. (Oh, half of the battle between him and Po was complete déjà vu. Think to the D.W and T.L fight over the scroll. [which Po notes]). And Peng swears to never do kung fu again. It's actually sort of sad. (They had a part where Po pretended to be Tai Lung which referenced to episode 8 of season 1. I actually thought Tai was alive for a second. Hmm...that'd be neat if he did survive.... Just not as the bad guy. I mean, that's crazy. he'd have gone through all of that and still be stubborn enough to want the Dragon Scroll! I mean, really!).
I had a serious obsession with Tai Lung being brought back as a redeemed character. When I watched his fight with Shifu, I thought he could still have a change of heart during the final confrontation, but then he attacked Shifu so it didn't happen. But I was convinced that he should be brought back and have a redemption arc. How interesting a thought process considering what the plot of Kung Fu Panda 4 is.......
