.{chapter 1} Crazy Morning

ALEX'S POV

I read my alarm clock ... 5:15 am.

"Shit." I said remembering I had school today ,"new school,new start,new friends ... Ugh this year will be terrible!!

"ALEX." my mom screeched thinking I didn't wake up.

"I'm awake what do you want?!"

"Just making sure you got up this time.

Instead of responding I got into the shower . Once I got out,I put on one of my favorite outfits (picture). Walked downstairs and made myself breakfast, cinnamon toast crunch and a glass of milk . I put my bowl and cup into the sink and washed them after I finished breakfast .

"Hey mom.. Can we talk?"

"Yes hun,whats wrong?"
My mother and I have been very close ever since my dad left and said he didn't want anything to do with either of us. "Can I get my belly-button pierced?"

"Hun... You can after school."

"Fine . " I say in a pissy tone and roll my eyes .

I left the room and ran upstairs into my room.I open all of my school supplies and put everything in my book bag .
I put perfume,spare earrings,my phone,my charger,my makeup,gum,and my extra makeup brushes into my purse.

I walk out the door at about 6:05am.,I jump into my car and rush to the school,once I pull in I get out and see I forgot my book bag and purse . "FUCK." I screamed and got into my car as everyone watches me drive away I look at the clock in my car and see it's now 6:10.

"Shit" I again say. I only have 10 minutes to get back and it takes my five minutes . I look into the back seats because I heard something fall . And there they were .
"THANK GOD" I said looking to see I only have 7 minutes now . I speed to the school and find locker 32B because the schedule also said our books would be in our lockers,with 3 minutes left I have to find my class. it's now 6:25 and I'm lost and late to class . Apparently the teacher already took attendance because I got a call from my mom asking where I was .

"ALEXANDRIA---
I cut her off "mom chill out .. I'm in the school. I just don't know where i have to go to get to--" I cut myself off "found it "

"GET YOUR ASS IN THERE ALEXAN- "

hanging up before she got to finish her statement I entered the classroom . Everyone just stared ... For what felt like forever until Mr.Cummings broke the silence. "Excuse me,what is your name ?"

"I'm Alex and I got lost because I am new to Bridgett high. I'm ver--"

He cut me off "well welcome , what's your favorite candy?"

"Basically any candy "
"Okay" he said with a smile reaching into his desk .

He hands me a bag of candy

"Thanks ?" I say with confusion ,"but where do I sit ?"
"Any free spot"
