Chapter 3

"Honey, dinner is ready". Mom called.

I headed downstairs, good I need some food.

The smell of chicken pot pie crept in my nose and it smelt too good.

"Your friend seemed to be in a hurry, she didn't even want my cupcakes, is she alright"? My mum asked.

"Yeah she is fine. It was past her curfew". I lied

"Her curfew is at 6:30pm"?

Oh shoot I didn't check the time

"I think so? Mum I'm hungry".

"Okay okay".

Dinner went on Okay. I was actually looking forward to school tomorrow.

I was kind of early today. I met June at the lockers and she was her happy weird self.

"Hey. You look amazing",She said.

Lookin down on myself, I was wearing just a casual blue sundress with some polka dots on them matching with my small heel black boots. It wasn't much but hey. Its not everyday that I get complimented. I'll take it.

"Thanks. You don't look so bad yourself". I add. June was wearing high waist shorts with a cute animal T-shirt half tucked in.

I was so early today that I didnt want to miss a chance of seeing that boy. He has a name. Right Sky. Ever since our short encounter he hasnt slipped out of mind not once.

"what you thinking about?". June pulled me out of my thoughts.

"uh, my first lesson?". Yes because saying that you have been having thoughts about a stranger is so wrong.

"oh, well we happen to share all our classes. Its English first and we should get to it cause the teacher hates late students.
Classes went by so quickly that it was lunch already. Seeing that June was the only one she got. They sat together. As she ate her food she could feel someone watching her. She looked around but couldn't see anyone that looked her direction.
"Looking for someone?", June interrupted her search.
"Uhm, no, I felt someone watching me". She said.
Suddenly June stood and muttered few curses under her breath.
"Sam, I have to go. I have a class and I didn't finish my work. Got to complete it before the lesson. So I'll see you later?". June said rather blurted out.
"Okay". I didn't know what else to say.
With that she bolted.
I took my time with my food and when I was done I left. As I was walking to my locker I passed the janitor's closet but to my surprise I heard muffled voices from the inside. I could identify one voice and it sounded strangely familiar.
I know you want to listen.
Leaning I cautiously pressed my ear against the door.
"But she felt someone watching her".
The voice said.
"I got curious and carried away, it won't happen again". Another voice spoke. This voice was manlier, crispy and weirdly sexy.
"You ruin every thing for me don't screw this up. I am warning you". The first voice said.
"Okay, okay. I get i-
"I don't want her to find out about you know what". The voice interrupted.
"Are we done?".
This is where you leave. Start walking.
Samantha was about to take a step forward when her bag slipped from her back landing straight on the tiled floor with a steady but loud crash. Scared she hurriedly picked it not wanting to get caught eavesdropping by the two people inside. She scurried away quickly and entered the nearby girls' washroom.
What was all that about. She didn't understand the conversation but it was sure as hell suspicious. The fact that one of the voices she heard sounded vaguely familiar made her think that something was going on and she wanted to find out what it was. Oh no. Don't you get involved. Remember last time you did that what happened to you. Her inner self was right. It was dreadful and she didn't want to go down that memory lane again. She shuddered at the thought of that day. Okay. I won't butt in... Yet.
She collected herself and left the washroom.
She was heading out of school as she pulled out her phone. She couldn't wait to get home and eat actual food. She was having a text war with her best friend from her old town when she collided with a hard chest.
As her mind scramble to herself together the voice spoke. The same manly, crispy and weirdly sexy voice
"And so we meet again". Crap.

Chapter 3 is done. I am so sorry I took long to update. I have been busy in a way.
I know this chapter is long and boring. Please bear with me. I am trying so very hard to not get carried away while I am writing. I'll limit myself. I know there are some spelling mistakes I'll correct them soon cause I haven't proof read them yet.
Sky's POV is coming on the next chapter. Yaay.
