Chapter 9: Now Defeated.

The White Void Faded.

Her eyes open as she's lay in a bed. She looks at her arm as the panic returns. The arm being completely gone as she's left with a stump. She moves it around uncomfortably as she touches it with her hand feeling the elbow bone being the last thing left. She shivers, not liking the feeling.

Ivory walks in as she gasps, running over and hugging Tari. "Oh my... oh my god th-...thank god you're alive..." Ivory said tearing up.

"O-...of course I'm alive!... i-....of...course I'm alive..." Tari said once really happy to see her... but the second time being more mellow and sad. Ivory pulled away from the hug and looked down to her. "What's... what's wrong...?" She said upset almost.

"S-...So much... h...has happened... m-...my arm... G-Glacier... and.... THE SHARD!!! DID WE P-"

"Yeah Tari... we... yeah we powered The Shard..." Ivory says rubbing her cheek. "L-...look I know it's Hard... but... but we won. In the end. We got what we wanted." Ivory says smiling reassuringly to her.

"The girl. She warned me."

Tari says looking down.

"About..A-about what..."

"I don't know... she said I was a Doomsday Trigger to Ending the Realmverse. She traveled from the future to the past just to stop me... and.... and she failed."

Tari says scoffing unbelievably as she strokes her hair back with her arm tearing up.

"I-...wh... What...." Ivory says unsure how to react.

"I don't... I don't know what to do... she was The Knight of The Blue Cube... and if... if i nearly got killed fighting just her.... I-...imagine The King...." Tari says, her voice trembling in fear at the thought of that.

"TARI I-... SHUT IT!... We will do it together. We all have each others backs... You are Not Alone."

Tari quickly grabs her shoulder. "I can't... I can't risk losing anymore than I already have."

"NEITHER CAN I TARI!" Ivory shouts.

Tari's eyes widen as she looks to her... dropping her arm off her shoulder. "...I-"

"I need to get some Air." Ivory says looking away as she wipes her eyes. "T-take me with you!... p-please..." Tari says quickly grabbing her arm, pleasingly looking to her as Ivory turns and takes a deep breath. Helping her up as they make their way outside and onto a hill.

"You... you need to stop this Tari." Ivory says looking to her as they both sat down leaning on a tree. "S-...stop what?" Tari stumbled. Ivory grabbed her Stump arm. "Thinking you're on your own... i-... it pains me to see... Tari." Ivory mumbled as her voice trembled in fear. Tari looks away shamefully, Ivory softly holding her chin and facing it towards her as she put her hand on her cheek.

"Don't be ashamed of Tari... it-... it wasn't your fault..." Ivory said, kissing her cheek as she sat closer. Grabbing her hand as Tari leaned her head against her shoulder as they watched the sun rise.
