Eloise Blake was never the type of girl you'd find part of the group that classify as the 'popular' ones, but rather she would plant her head in a book when she isn't painting.

Her roommate, Ray, on the other hand, was the complete opposite and to Eloise's dismay, ended up hosting a party in their apartment. With there being more than 20 people outside her room as she tried to finish her book, she found herself sneaking off to the infamous abandoned section of her college library which is known as the ultimate hookup spot - but rather than doing that, she planted herself against a bookshelf and continued her one of many books on her tbr list.

Finally in peace as she expected she would find at midnight on a friday, she continued reading her book but what she didn't expect is to come face-to-face.. or rather book-to-face with Notorious Asher Taylor who practically knows the spot from top to bottom.. (and almost every girl in the school).. sitting beside her instead of being at a party on a Friday night, asking her what the book is about.

When running into each other one night to get away from what society expects from them, turns into sneaking out of class, throwing notes at each other and sharing music, books and conversations until midnight - one can only assume that a spark will fly between the two - but that's not the case here as Eloise feels a familiarity coming from Asher but she couldn't put her tongue on where she knew him from.

then one day, it clicks, and she remembers everything and suddenly the only thing on her mind is revenge.
