Quinn wanted to leave. She was at this ball that her mom made her go to, because she said that she needed to go out more, so that she could enjoy her debutante time, and (hopefully) find a husband.

Lawson was just messing around. He didn't even want to be at that ball, but his friend invited him, and he decided that it was better than staying at his house looking at half of the boys in town trying to marry her sister.

He was almost leaving the ball when he saw this girl talking to his friend, she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen, he needed to talk to her, try to get a date or at least an accompanied walk in the park with her chaperone. He started walking to her, when she looked directly at him, and when their eyes locked at each others, they both knew that they needed to be together.

Quinn was talking to this guy, he was cute and he had good jokes, but while he was telling her everything about some adventure that he had in Greece, she saw this boy walking to them, he was the most beautiful boy in town, he walked with much confidence and looked like he was friends with... what was his name? Garret? No, Graham, yeah, Graham.

"Quinn ? This is my friend, Lawson. Lawson, this is Quinn, I was just telling her about my trip to Greece "said Graham

"Nice to meet you, Quinn"said Lawson as he kissed the back of my hand. " I hope he didn't kill you out of boredom, I think the only thing he wants to talk about is his trip to Greece"

"Don't worry, I was enjoying his tales" It wasn't a lie, but I was actually enjoying a lot more talking to him than to his friend. "I know this isn't something a lady should ask, but Lawson, would you like to dance with me ?"

Lawson wasn't surprised, he was actually smiling. "Sure, but let me ask you the correct way" He reached his hand to me and said. " Would you mind if I ask you this dance, lady Quinn ?"

"Yes, I would love to dance" I said, while trying to contain a smile.

And even though we spent the rest of the night dancing, I asked him (again, something that ladies aren't supposed to do, but as many know, I don't care about what i'm supposed to do) to take a walk with me tomorrow morning, he (again) wasn't surprised, he actually gave me a smirk, and told me that he would be at my door at noon, so he could meet my parents and brothers.

And I shouldn't be saying this, but I think I might be starting to like Lawson.
