"Are you busy?" Joohyun shyly entered the office. Seulgi looked up from the papers she was signing off on, and seeing her girlfriend lifted her spirits.
"Never for you," Seulgi replied before standing to hug her.
"I missed you. I thought I would come by to surprise you." Seulgi's heart melted at the sweet thought.
She knew Joohyun wasn't busy since she was finished with promotions, but Seulgi didn't think she would miss her presence this much.
"Oh yeah? Do you miss working?" Seulgi broke the hug. "No. Well, I mean, yeah, but no." Joohyun smiled. The expression earned a chuckle from Seulgi. She was too cute.
"When do you get off work?" Joohyun sat down on the nearby couch. "At this rate, maybe in the evening. If not, then probably midnight. Do you think you can handle being alone for so long?"
"Don't worry about me. I'll be okay. I am a little exhausted from all those crazy schedules." Joohyun yawned. 'She did look a little tired,' Seulgi thought.
After showering Joohyun affectionately, Seulgi finally let the woman go before delaying the time she wanted to get home. "See you when you get back. Love you." Joohyun waved endlessly.
It was almost like she was giving fan service. "See you, I love you more." Seulgi hated to see her girlfriend leave so early.

Joohyun groaned in relief after she plopped down on the comfy bed. She had been waiting all day to lay down.
She had been called into the company for a brief meeting, and she was going to be busy again.
And sooner than she thought, in less than three weeks, she was going to make another comeback. That meant Joohyun planned to squeeze in as much rest as she could while she could.
She loved being at home more than anything, but she also loved being on stage and interacting with her fans.
But she would never learn to love the questions she was asked during her promotion periods.
"Do you enjoy being a singer?"
Or
"Would you give your future kid your voice?"
Truthfully, she wouldn't give her future kid her voice because her kid would want to be a singer, and being a singer was lonely. She didn't want her kid to feel lonely.
"Unnie?" a voice from behind her called. She turned around and saw joy. "Hey, Sooyoung, it's so nice to see you." She quickly got out of bed and embraced her.
Joy smiled in response to the loving hug. " What are you doing here?" Joohyun looked up at Joy.
"I was looking for Seulgi-unnie. She wanted me to come over." the taller explained. "She's at work and probably won't return until later."
"You can come back later to see if she's back by then." Joohyun offered.
The younger woman insisted she would stick around and help herself to the living room with Joohyun beside her.
"Make yourself at home. If you need anything, let me know." Joy watched as she returned to her room. "She hasn't changed one bit," she says, laughing.

"I'm home." Seulgi's voice echoes throughout the house. She entered the living room to be met with a brightly smiling Joy.
"Oh, when did you get here?" Seulgi pouted and made her way to hug the woman. "A couple of hours ago, unnie helped me settle."
