"What is she even doing here?" I mumbled to Three  as we walked around the mall. It was me, Kentrell, Kd, Ben, Three and Safari. I didn't even know Safari was in California. "She living out here now" Three shrugged.

"So everyone is okay with that?" I questioned and he nodded. I watched as Safari adjusted Kacey on her hip. I didn't like this at all. I didn't like how close she was getting to Kentrell's kids or Kentrell. I also didn't like how close she was getting to the gang.

The gang isn't very accepting of people but they aren't giving her a hard time like they've done me. "Y'all hungry?" Kentrell turned around and asked while holding Taylin and the gang nodded. I stayed quiet with my arms folded. I don't even know why I came here. If I would've known Safari was in California I would've just stayed with my mom and my son.

"Let's get some chicken wings" Kd grinned. "Whatchu want?" I heard Kentrell asked while smiling a little at Safari.

That shit made me sick. He really was all up on her like a flea on a dog. Shit was mad annoying.

"Wings is fine" Safari nodded. "What about some Pasta? It is almost dinner time" I spoke up and everyone looked at me.

"I don't want pasta" Kd rolled his eyes and I mugged him. "I mean if you guys want pasta the-"

"Nah we getting wings" Kentrell cut Safari off before we kept walking and I huffed.

We left the mall and went to this wing spot. When we got there we sat in a booth. Kentrell, Safari, and Three on one side while me, Ben and Kd were on the other. The boys were sitting on Kentrell and Safari's laps of course.

We all looked at our menus and Kd started talking. "What niggas doing tomorrow?"

"Shit coolin" Ben said still looking at the menu. "Kentrell my mom want to see you" I said starting a new conversation. "Word? She got my number"

"I'll be over there tomorrow, you can come then" I suggested and Safari pulled out her phone. "I got shit to do Jay, I'll call her though" he said and I slightly nodded.

"So Safari do you have family down here?" I questioned and she put her phone away. "No"

"Oh so why did you come down here?" I asked and her and Kentrell slightly looked at each other without trying to make something obvious. "More opportunities" she smiled a little. "Like what?"

"You acting real federal" Kd said and Ben nodded while laughing a little. "I'm just asking the questions that nobody else is gonna ask. I mean we all just met this girl and y'all are already trusting her" I shrugged. I knew Safari wanted to say something back by the way she looked at me but our waitress had came over to take our order.

After eating we all went back to Kentrell's house. Safari put the kids to sleep before sitting on the couch with Kentrell.

"Trelly" I called out, "Don't call me that"

"Can we talk really quick?"

"Talk" he said putting his arm around Safari. "Somewhere...private" I said through gritted teeth.

Kentrell stood up and we walked into the kitchen. "What's going on with you?" I mumbled. "Whatchu mean slime?"

"I mean you've been acting hella distant and how come you didn't tell me Safari was staying here?"

"I ain't think it was any of us business" he shrugged. "Why you even care?" He scrunched his face and I gave him a confused look before signing.

"You right" I said before we both walked back into the living room. "I'm gone guys" I said and everyone nodded. "Bye" Safari waved politely while giving me a small and I gave her a fake one before grabbing my purse and walking out of the house.

Can this man not see that I'm in love with him? I rather not sit in the house with one of his new little hoes....
