*Perched on a tree, Zumo pondered the situation, while staring at the sky. A surge of anger coursed through his veins, filling him with rage and hatred. Suddenly, Sasuke emerged from a portal without acknowledging Zumo. Concerned, Sasuke asked if Zumo was okay, to which Zumo hastily replied that he was fine. Uncertain about how to handle the situation, Sasuke offered to take care of Ciruka if Zumo couldn't handle him. However, Zumo refused, stating that it was his responsibility and he intended to kill Ciruka immediately. As he climbed down from the tree and walked past Sasuke, Sasuke tried to stop him, but Zumo violently shrugged him off. Sasuke reminded Zumo that he was still sick and damaging himself, making it hard for him to heal properly. This angered Zumo, who retorted that Sasuke had no idea what he had been through and threw a punch at Sasuke, which he quickly caught and pushed him away.

When Sasuke spoke, he briefly remarked, "You're right, I don't understand you. Are you planning to take down your target alone? I hope not, because I don't want you to perish in your present condition." Zumo's face turned red with shame in response to Sasuke's words. "You don't know who I am. I'm Zumo Uchiha, and I won't die without fulfilling my objectives!" he yelled. Sasuke grinned and departed, opening a portal to return to his previous duties. "Oh, and one more thing, use your intellect," he hinted as he left.

Filled with anger, Zumo hurried to his mother's house to collect his deceased brother's sword that had been forgotten there. While gazing at the charred pictures of his family, he took a moment to look at Konasa's photo. "I vow not to perish," Zumo proclaimed before darting into the forest and conjuring up a portal. "My chakra may be limited, but it's enough for battle," he reasoned as he stepped through the portal and embarked on his quest to locate Ciruka.

*Transition to Ciruka*

During the conversation with Momoshiki, Ciruka pounded on the wall while Kinshiki took offense to Momoshiki's compliment of Ciruka's strength, claiming that no one could beat him. Kinshiki charged at Ciruka with his blade, but Ciruka skillfully dodged the attack, spinning his body and using his arm as a rod to clash with Kinshiki's blade. Ciruka also headbutted Kinshiki and broke off one of his horns with a kick to his face. Despite Kinshiki's rage, Momoshiki intervened and praised Ciruka's performance, explaining that he still needs more time to evolve his chakra, which is currently 85% complete.

Ciruka was advised by Momoshiki to become stronger and not waste any time. Using his Rinnegan, Momoshiki summons a portal and urges Kinshiki to join him, saying he needs to find the  Kaguya palace and work on his plans. Ciruka questions Momoshiki about leaving so soon and is told to get along well. As Momoshiki departs, Ciruka ponders over the meaning behind his words. Meanwhile, Zumo catches Ciruka training in a cave and decides to seize the opportunity to eliminate him. He consumes the pills provided by Tsunade to boost his strength and chakra, preparing for their showdown.

*In Zumo's head*

*As your teacher, Zumo, my advice to you is simple: always keep in mind not to lose your life."

As Zumo advances towards Ciruka, his demeanor turns serious and he starts to make hand gestures as he approaches. Just before he can make a move, however, Ciruka hears Chidori's shouts and successfully defends himself against Zumo's attack. Zumo then flips backwards and throws a Kunai, but Ciruka skillfully dodges it and clashes his Rod against Zumo's sword.

Zumo is shoved away by Ciruka, who taunts him with a question about his deceased family, to which Zumo doesn't respond. Instead, he concentrates on attacking Ciruka with caution and agility, cartwheeling and leaping while spinning in the air and striking with his sword. Nevertheless, Ciruka manages to block the attack by using his Rod and locking eyes with Zumo.

"TSSK... He's too strong," Zumo thinks to himself. "You're physically weaker than I thought," Ciruka taunts, goading him on.

Ciruka shoved him and delivered a back kick that sent him flying into the wall. Zumo regained consciousness after crashing through a rock and landing on the floor. Ciruka hurled rods at him, but Zumo managed to fend them off with his sword. Ciruka closed in for an attack, but Zumo swiftly blocked and flipped over. A fierce battle ensued, with Zumo ultimately getting the worst of it. "I have to find a way out of here," Zumo thought as he fought to fend off Ciruka's assaults. Ciruka evaded Zumo's Kenjutsu strike and seized his face, slamming him through the floor before hurling him against the stone wall of the cave and impaling his body with rods. As Zumo spat out blood, he struggled to extricate himself from his predicament. "It's over for you, Zumo!" Ciruka bellowed, leaping to deliver the finishing blow and hurling a rod in Zumo's direction as he did so.

*Into Zumo's memory.*

*"Exercise caution when using Amenotenjikara Zumo. It can be a valuable asset to extricate yourself from difficult scenarios and is an excellent combo skill, as I have observed you frequently employ it during your training sessions. Nonetheless, please bear in mind that it is a Rinnegan ability, and it is imperative not to expend all your chakra."

Zumo made a mental declaration to himself that he wouldn't succumb to death and made a solemn promise to vanquish his adversary for good, expressing gratitude towards Sasuke. With the thunderous sounds of the Rinnegan ringing in his ear, he opened his right eye and deftly swapped places with Ciruka. Unfortunately, Ciruka met with an ill-fated incident where he was impaled by his own Rod, causing unbearable agony as Zumo extracted it from his stomach. Despite being in a weak state, Zumo held his ground and took a deep breath. Ciruka, livid at the situation, infused more power into his chakra, resulting in a powerful Super Sonic blast that Zumo barely evaded. As Ciruka's power approached its limit, Zumo issued a cautionary statement before disappearing into a portal, leaving Ciruka in a rage. Although Ciruka acknowledged Zumo's prowess, he couldn't shake off the sense of impending peril and vowed to strike back when the opportunity presented itself.
