As the title says it all, while the human whole goes smoothly there is another living amongst them. Not seen and rarely come across is the half-lings, they are half a creature and half of a human. Yuko Akamine is one of the youngest in Wolf history to be the queen, but her position was revoke thanks to a unfortunate incident that happen 3 years back. She was banished out of the entire beings of wolf-ling and have all traces of her name cancelled and is a taboo to say it. But no one knows her view of what happened, she was not given the chance to say anything having chains to pull her down both physically and mentally. The rained mourned at her stepping down as her uneven fringe covered her eyes, her being herself she tried to explain her position but all were rejected by none other than the one she trusted most. Chase out by everyone, even those who once respected and admired her, she also had her left eye damaged badly. Sitting on the grass with her precious katana and Flute that is passed down by the generations as you can hear sobbing noise from her. Then she was found by a Fox-ling, not a normal one but one with high rank as she was taken in by the Fox, as they understand her situation but dare not pry more into it. Oath was made and she is now part Fox, Wolf and Human. Even so she will never be the same again, used to be friendly and talkative now quiet, mysterious and cold though her act hides it all. They provided her with everything she ever needed and that includes an Apartment near the school that she is supposed to go to.
YUKO P.O.V
I woke up to the ringing of my alarm as I stretched and yawn at the same time, my blanket sliding of my skin as the cold air greeted me. Noticing that today is the qualifying exam of this school I got up and grabbed the hanging towel that is on my study table and head to the showers. The warm water droplets trickling down my skin as I look to the scars I was given by MY village as I sigh and finish up bathing and went on changing before heading to the kitchen for a light snack then heading off to school.
'hmm? so this is the academy that is hard to get in....? It seems so grand....let's see what this school it's made off.' I thought as I felt a small smirk up my mouth and tail swaying side to side gracefully. Then a presence was felt as a lady walked towards me.
"Thank you for waiting." She said as she bowed slightly.
"It's no problem." I replied as I gave a light nod.
"The preparation for the exams have been completed. This way, please." She said as I wondered if she was a robot, I shrugged my shoulders as I followed her through the elegant designed hall. She came to a stopped as he gestured to her right.
"You will be taking the written examination here." With one of the most emotionless face as I chuckled awkwardly.
"Al.....right then?" I spoke softly as I stepped in the spacious room with her as the examiner. I look at the piece of paper ready for any difficulty as I stared at the piece of paper like it's contaminated and looked back at the examiner only to find her asleep. Oh well nothing to lose I guess.....
"I've completed the paper?" I ask as I slightly tilted my head to look at my examiner as she yawned and got up as she led me elsewhere.
"Next is the interview." She said straightforward gesturing to a pair of doors as I nodded and went in cautiously. Once I was in the doors was closed as light shined brightly towards me as I winced slightly at the brightness.
"Well aren't you also a wolf descendant?" I looked up to a creature floating as I try not to hiss while speaking.
"No. Was but am not, I am a fox descendant now." I replied with light growl as wind passed by me fast and light blue markings was found around the room.
"Oh well let me congratulate you on passing your special treatment test." It spoke as I tilted my head slightly and patted it unconsciously as he purred sweetly before he got into focus.
"By the way we already gotten the interview results." He said with both his paws beside his face as I pat him again before my ears perked up in shocked.
"What kind of interview was that?" I asked as I stared at his sparkling light purple eyes, full of happiness....unlike mine. Dirty, disgusting, tainted dark purple eyes.
"Don't fret on small details, you pass!" He said proudly as he laid on the air.
"Well that was fast..." I said staring back at him. Well the exam is done for as I came back to the same school for first day of school on April.
'I walk to the school only bringing my precious flute and katana as I looked around the school and towards the celebration for the first years. I looked upon the stage as some sort of battling is going on, then this creature came up once again and explaining the must of joining a club as a stare in awe at the stage.'
"The club battles huh...." I thought out loud.
"Preference on room and food too..." I mumbled as after the battle ended I walked pass stands recruiting new students as the creature came back to me passing me an original device that all students have as he tell me things I can do with it like shopping, points that are distributed by the club battles as I mumbled a soft 'cool' with a slight smile in interest.
He guided another girl to the girls' dorm as I popped out of the blue and greeted them.
"Heeyo I am done walking around so I decided to follow you guys." I said with a normal smile as the creature nodded while the girl looked to me like a predator but unfortunately for her, I will not be a easy prey.
"Nice to meet you! I am Eruna Ichinomiya! Let's be more than friends!" I couldn't help but chuckle as I introduced myself too.
"Well nice to meet you. I am Yuko Akamine. And if you want to be more than friends you have to earn it" I said playfully with a wink as we heard another voice.
"Yoo-hoo, Teach! What are you doing in a place like this? Are you playing at being a dad who doesn't want to go straight home after work?" A bubbly voice as we turned to her and before I know it...
"So small and cute! Do you want to live together? Under one roof? C'mon, I'll feed you carrots everyday!" Was what I heard next followed by.
"I'm not a rabbit! And I hate carrots! And I am not small!" As she struggle against Eruna's grip. After they settle down the smaller female was introduced.
"She's the president of the calligraphy club, Himi Yasaka, ryui." The cute creature introduced as she said a cheerful 'Nice to meet you!'
"Nice to meet you! Himi! I hope I can meet you more than necessary! Let's be such close friends that people misunderstand about us!-" Eruna said as I cut in.
"Hello. Nice to meet you, the names Yuko." I said with a smile as I held my hand out which she gladly shook.
"Himi, it looks like this two has been assigned to this dorm." He said to Himi as she replied back.
"Oh, in that case, I'll show you to your rooms!" She said.
"This is your rooms, Eruna, Yuko!" She said happily as I started at the sleeping bag.
"I guess we gotta get into a club to have more privilege huh? Oh Wells, I can deal with it on the roof." I muttered as I carried my sleeping bag up to the empty part of the roof for sleeps. I have always like my privacy.
