"Shota!" You called out your boyfriend's name, kicking your shoes off in the process, placing them neatly by the door. When you didn't hear anyone answer, it wasn't much of a surprise to you. Sometimes he could get so wrapped up in his lesson plans and grading papers that he would just tune out the world. "Shota, I brought dinner." You announced, hoping the smell and mention of food would make him crawl out of his hole and greet you.
Just as you thought, it did the trick, hearing the shuffling of his slippers across the floor. Turning around to face him, your eyes went wide and laughter bubbled out, a fit of laughter shaking you. The great pro-hero Eraserhead stood in the living room, in a long sleeve black v-neck, sweat pants, wearing a satin black bonnet on his head. Your bonnet to be exact.
"Shota!" you choked out through your laughter, trying to catch your breath. "Why are you wearing my bonnet?"
Tired eyes blinked at you a few times as if confused by your statement, until you watched it click in his brain. Shrugging his shoulders, he mumbled out, "It's surprisingly very comfortable and it keeps my hair out of my face while I'm grading."
Whipping the tears from your eyes you approached your boyfriend, lopping your arms around his waist, a giggle still on your lips. "Do you want me to buy you one too? I can if you want."
"Nah, I already ordered us matching ones." He said, wrapping an arm around you, using his free hand to pull out his phone from his back pocket. "See." He showed you an order for two black bonnets with white cats on them. They were very cute and very him.
"Why is one bigger than the other?" You asked pointing to one that was twice the size of the other.
Sliding his phone back into his pocket, he reached out running his fingers through your box braids, moving them over your shoulder, so he could grab the side of your neck, thumb running across your jaw. "I noticed this one, the one I'm wearing is too small for you when you get your hair braided. It slips off at night, but I usually try to fix it before you wake up."
Leaning into his touch, you leaned forward planting a quick kiss on his lips. "Thank you, Shota. I really do appreciate it." You smiled, a sense of gratitude washing over you. "Now take my bonnet off." You demanded, giving his butt a quick smack.
He grumbled, stuffing his face into your neck. "I don't want to, Kitten. It's comfortable."
You let out another giggle, rubbing your hands up and down his back, as he hugged you closer to him. Rolling your eyes, you let out a defeated sigh, knowing it was hard to say no to him. "Ok. Fine, but you have to give me a welcome home kiss, since you didn't greet me."
Lifting his head from your neck, he moved his hands to the sides of your face, pulling your face towards his, soft lips meeting yours. The kiss was a lot more sensual than you expected, moaning into the kiss as he swiped his tongue across your bottom lip. Opening your mouth, he deepened the kiss, making your head spin, and spine tingle taking your breath away.
Pulling away to catch your breath he leaned his forehead against yours, "Welcome home, Kitten."
A breathless chuckle left your swollen lips, as you tried to gather your bearings. "Thank you, Shota." You leaned forward to get another kiss, but he kissed your cheek, making you pout. "I want another one."
Smiling down at you, he kissed your other cheek, giving your butt a quick smack making you yelp. "You'll get another one after we eat. I promise."
Sticking your tongue out, you pouted as you shuffled back to the kitchen, to get ready to eat. After plating the food, the both of you sat at your small round table, chatting idly about your day as the two of you ate.
