Little seven year old Touya Todoroki sighed as he walked around all alone in the big city of Japan. He didn't care if someone kidnapped him or anything like that, he just wanted to get away and take a break from his father's yelling.
It was almost sundown, and he was training with his father, learning more to control his quirk.
He was seven and still had trouble controlling it. How pathetic! He thought.
He was about to turn back around and head home when he noticed a small little figure sitting on the very top of a high building in front of him.
He squinted his eyes, trying to get a better look, now noticing it was a child.
Where were the parents? Why would the kid be all alone? Then, Touya realized that anyone could ask him the same thing.
He wondered for a minute why he'd be so concerned about a child, when he didn't really usually care about anyone, except for his own siblings and his mother. But he decided against it and began running inside the building, immediately making his way past guards and into elevators and stairs until he was at the very top and at the rooftop the kid was sitting on.
Out of breath from running, Touya made his way closer to the kid, now noting he had to be around his age.
The boy, noticing he was no longer alone, turned his head around to look at Touya, curious and confused.
Touya looked over the boy before him, taking in his appearance as he caught his breath, the boy doing the same thing.
He had blond hair, gold eyes, and small red wings, wearing a grey shirt and shorts.
"What...are you doing up here?" Touya hesitantly asked.
"I could ask you the same thing" the boy replied.
Touya rolled his eyes. Of course he saw that reply coming.
"I was walking, blowing off some steam, but I saw you up here so I ask again, what are you doing up here? Especially all by yourself?" He asked again.
"My parents aren't at home yet, so I tried playing with other kids, but no one accepted me, and they had to be home too, so I came here, I just like the wind though, it feels really nice, and the sunsets and sunrises are best outdoors" the boy answered, smiling.
Touya widened his eyes, surprised at the reply, but smiled and sat down next to him.
"I never thought about that before. I'm Touya, what's your name?"
"I'm Keigo! It's nice to meet you Touya! I don't have any friends, so you don't know how glad I am you joined me"
Touya grinned, loving to hear those words.
"So...what is your quirk, anyways? Flying?" He questioned, examining Keigo's wings.
Keigo chuckled. "Pretty much, yeah! But properly, it's fierce wings! What about you, Touya? What's your quirk?"
Touya wondered for a bit, imagining how amazing it would be to have Keigo's quirk and the ability to fly.
"Wow, it must be pretty awesome to have that ability to fly! My quirk is cremation" he said, frowning a little at the end.
"Wow, cool! What about your favorite hero? Do you have one?" Keigo wondered, wanting to know a lot more about the new friend he had just made.
"I don't know, I don't pay much attention to heros, though I kind of want to be one some day" Touya replied, smiling.
"Me too! Maybe the number one hero! My favorite hero is Endeavor"
Touya then frowned and looked away at the mention of his father's name.
This kid, his new friend, liked his father?
"Why...is he your favorite?" He asked, a bit hesitant.
"Because he's really cool! He saved me, but I don't really want to talk about that, I just like seeing him in action" Keigo explained.
"Endeavor's my dad" Touya then sadly said, sighing.
Keigo, noticing this, frowned and looked over him.
"Is there something wrong with that?" He curiously asked.
Touya shook his head. "It's just, um...he...he's a little...rough" he said, not really sure if he should tell him the full truth.
Keigo looked down, now feeling bad. He then looked ahead as he noticed the sun going down and the night sky flowing above them.
He then smiled and looked over back at Touya.
"It's getting really late, we should both get back to our homes" he said.
Touya nodded and stood up, Keigo following.
"I'll see you some other time" Touya said smiling, then began heading towards the rooftop door.
"Wait, Touya!" Keigo called out, Touya pausing and turning back around, confused.
Then, out of nowhere, Keigo hugged him.
"Before you go, just know, I'll always be here for you"
Touya widened his eyes as tears came to them, as those words was all he ever needed to hear.
"I'll always be here for you"
"Always be here for you"
"I'll be here for you"

10 years later
The UA bell rang on the first day of school as all the new students hurried off to their first homeroom teachers.
Touya was rushing to his classroom when he spotted familiar wings. Too familiar wings.
He widened his eyes and smiled, now rushing to make his way over, as the student was getting further away.
He now began shouting.
"Keigo! Keigo!"
The student stopped and looked around as he heard his name being called.
He then spotted a familiar face, running towards him, the one calling his name.
He smiled and also began making his way over.
When the two met, they both hugged without hesitation.
"I didn't know you'd be here! It's been too long!"
Keigo laughed. "You know it!"
"See you after class?" Touya asked.
"I'll be here" Keigo replied.
"I'll always be here"
