"Princess Y/N of Oscura has arrived!"

Opening the palace doors, you walked to your mother and father across from you. They both bowed their heads in respect as they sat on their golden thrones, your mother's eyes holding a look of mischief while your father's holding sincerity. Three of their best guards stood still beside their thrones, the iron and purple merging in your own eyes.

"Y/N, what a lovely surprise to see you! How was training?" She giggled, covering her mouth. You didn't bother to look in her direction, and kept your gaze on your father.

"I'm not here for you, nor am I here for your sarcastic musings." You crossed your arms while fiddling with your ring on your finger.

"Ooooh, how cold." She shivered, unable to hide the grin slowly forming on her face. Your father looked over at her for a moment, then turned back to you.

"Y/N, I summoned you here to assign you a very important mission." He nodded to a guard beside him, who then proceeded to nod back and walk towards you.

The guard placed a bundle bag in your hands. It was relatively large but light as a feather, making you wonder what was inside it. Gently untying the string, you peeked inside the bag.

"I don't understand, if this is a joke it's not funny." You glared at your mother, who seemed rather happy that you were finally looking at her.

"I assure you, there is no foolery in what I have you given you." Your father sighed to himself as he shakes his head.

"Your mission is to deliver my personally handwritten letters to each Archon of the seven nations in Teyvat. Are there any questions?"

"Father, you cut all ties with Teyvat 500 years ago. What makes you think Celestia will allow me to wander its kingdom?" You asked him, tying the string of the bag around your waist. Not too tight, and not too loose.

"If Celestia were to discover of your existence and your familial tie to me, they wouldn't try to take you captive in hopes of me returning." He answered.

"What makes you so sure?"

"You dare argue against your father?" Your mother glared, motioning the guard to come back to your father's side.

"No, mother. I just find this to be rather strange. Father has been avoiding coming into contact with Teyvat due to Celestia's incompetence. Why would he suddenly be keen to be involved once more?" You inquired, glaring back.

"Enough." Your father placed his hand over your mother's.

ew. you thought whilst rolling your eyes.

"Another thing Father. I don't wish to insult you, but there's eight letters in the bag. Where do I deliver the eighth letter?" You sighed.

"The eighth belongs to Khaenri'ah, of course."

"Firstly, Khaenri'ah doesn't have an Archon. Secondly, Khaenri'ah was destroyed just before you left Teyvat. How do I present a handwritten letter to a non-existent leader as well as a non-existent nation?" You argued, watching your mother's eyes flare in anger.

"I suppose you'll have to find a solution then."

"You're... You're not going to dismiss this letter?" You muttered, taking the Khaenri'ahn assigned letter in your hands. The front said it was addressed to 'The Abyss Princess'.

"I trust you'll be able to deliver the letter to the recipient?" He questioned you, eyeing your expression as he watches you put the letter back in the bag.

"Father, I don't even know where to find this person." You argued.

"Well then, it seems you'll be away from Oscura for longer than usual." Your mother snickered to herself. "Such a shame, I was looking forward to tutoring you when you next took a break."
