The heat crashed upon hiccup as he held onto Toothless's back. The explosion of the Red Death's crash threatening to swallow me and Toothless in its wake when the tail raised. There was the collision, my head must have hit it as the last I remember was black.
I praised myself in my unconscious state. I'd saved my dad! The might Stoick the Vast saved by his scrawny son Hiccup Haddick the Third and not only that but on the sacred enemy, the dragon. Surely that would show my father what I was trying to show everyone in the arena.
Later that day I awoke, a piece of metal was attacked to a wood block and tied to my leg where my foot would be. Wait I didn't have a foot!?!? What happened? Then it all came crashing back and I realized I must have died, surely I did.
I stumbled my way to the door and pulled the big wooden door open to see the village had gathered and then I saw my father. His muscular figure with the giant brown fur cap made him stand amongst the others. Not to mention his orange beard either.
Dad made his way forwards and pushed me back into the hut before stepping and slamming the door behind him. I backed away as his eyes glared at me. They didn't seem to blink, nor did it seem his nose was taking in air. He just seemed frozen.
"D-dad...?" I stuttered.
"You disobeyed me not once but twice!" He stated.4
"I had to to save you! You didn't know what was on the island. If it wasn't for me you'd all be dead." I protested.
"And thanks to you, you've brought suffering to every Viking on Berk. Your no better than those flying reptiles." He said as he turned away.
"Dad please!" I cried out.
"Your no Viking...your not my son." He said as he walked towards the door.
"Please don't do this dad. I'm begging you!!" I pleaded.
"Get off my island and never come back. My son never existed. It was all a lie." He muttered.
"Dad please..." I tried.
"Get out of my sight!" He shouted.
At that moment two large Vikings entered the house. The woman walked in with a bag that smelled something like fish while the other reached for me. His big meaty hand clamping down on my arm before dragging me outside where all the other Vikings had gathered.
"Dad please!!" I shouted as they dragged me away.
My father stood silently as the two Vikings carried me out to a boat with Toothless chained on it. The one Viking shoved me from the dock onto the boat. The women threw the bag of fish into the ground causing some to spill and a few loaves of bread fell out as well.
My father stepped to the front of the gather Vikings before staring at me and Toothless. You took a deep breath before turning to address the crowd of gathered Vikings.
"Greetings everyone. It is with a heavy heart that I announce that my son has turned his back on his fellow man and women. After years of fighting my son thought he would solve our problems by turning our enemies into our pets." My father explained. "Now I ship him off to prove that no one is above the law."
At that moment my heart shattered and was put back together and covered with ice. If my own father couldn't see that I ended a life long war what hope did I have that I could change their minds. I looked over the crowd and noticed Gobber seemed conflicted by this but said nothing as the boat was pushed away from the dock.
"Forced to see by my own father and people!? Can you believe that Toothless!" I said.
Toothless let out a low purr as he landed on Dragon Island. The ship they had was attacked by a scauldron. I had come out of the confrontation with burn marks on my face. Mine covered my right eye blinding me in it and leaving a large burn on my face. That day was the death of Hiccup Haddick the third and the birth of Hiccup the Dreaded. They'd all pay for what they did to me. For now it was time to get ready for his revenge.
I'd trained for 3 years, pushing myself and Toothless to our limits. Covered in scars and bruises we had amassed the largest dragon army known to Viking kind. Dragon Island served as our home base covered in weapon shops, holding pens, feeding pens, and my hut which was all visible on approach but the real wonders were in the mountain itself. Inside was a mess of large cells and various buildings some incase I allowed Vikings to join my ranks but the cages in there ranged from all kinds of sizes to hold prisoners or untamed dragons that would be used on my enemies.
Dragon Island became more than an island, it was now untouchable. No Viking would step foot on this island and if they did, they pay the price. His first step would be to let his father know he was still alive to let all of Berk know. He'd launch a small raid on his old home to show the people the monster they'd created. My black armor which was based off of Toothless gleamed in the light of the fire ready to be drowned in the blood of battle.
