Chapter one: Double surprise

I love you too the moon and back.. forever and always.

I love the smell of nature in the morning, hearing only a few cars on the road, having all your windows rolled down and having your music blasted. It was 5:34am and I was driving to LA to visit my boyfriend. I wanted to surprise him because I haven't seen him in a long time, and I missed him so much.

Alex was the most handsome, loving, caring person ever, and I loved him so very much. I was going to be at his apartment in 2 and I half hours. This whole car ride I have been thinking about getting there and jumping into his arms after such a long time. I had so much planned for us.

Looking out my window I could see the sun starting to rise. It looked so beautiful. The shades of pink, orange, and yellow looked so pretty.
I didn't realize I had been looking at this man's car till he flipped me off and sped up, it felt so awkward.
After driving for 10 hours, I was finally at his apartment, I was so happy to see him. I got out of
My car and got my suitcase and backpack out of the car and walked to his apartment. I live in los angles in a apartment, it's called meadow apartments, Im I'm number 38.

I stood at apartment 38 so nervous to knock on the door. What if he wasn't even here? After overthinking for 5 minutes, I finally knocked on the door. I waited for a second and someone answered the door. It was this girl, blonde hair, blue eyes, tall and beautiful, all that I wasn't.
"What do you need? It's 7am."
"Oh um, is Alex here?" I said as I felt my heart sinking

"Why do you need him? Is he cheating on me? Are you a chick he's been talking to secretly?!" She said, I could see the anger in her eyes. I felt like I couldn't even talk, my eyes were watering, and it felt like something was stuck in my throat. I didn't even know what to do.
"Oh um.. this must be the wrong apartment, sorry miss"

I hurry and ran to my car, tears running down my face. I can't believe him. I mean what did I expect though. We were in a long distance relationship, and we rarely saw each other.
I got in my car and just cried, i wasted all my money on gas and food. I only had quarter tank left. I just needed someone to comfort me.

Give me a hug and tell me everything was going to be okay. I took at deep breath and relaxed. " I'll just, go get myself something to eat and figure everything out after." I started my car and drove. I remember I saw this coffee shop near by, and it looked good so, why not go there. It was only and 10 minute drive, so it didn't take forever.
I parked, got out of my car, and walked in. I sat down and pulled out my phone.
Should text him?? I asked myself.
I went onto my messages and texted him

Me: we're done, I really thought you loved me.
Alex: what do you mean!? I do love you baby.
Me: well then why was there a different girl at your house? Hm?
Alex: sweetie, just let me explain please.
Me: no. You cheated on me. We're done asshole.

I put down my phone and started tearing up again. He's such an asshole. Why me, why.. I loved him so much.
One of the waitresses walked up to me and sat down.
"Hey you okay? You seem like you need to be cheered up" the waitress said
"Oh I'm fine, it's just boy problems"
" I get it, some boys are just pieces of shit"
I looked up and smiled. She was so pretty, she had brown, soft hair. Her eyes looked like a sunset.
" my name is Wanda, what's yours?"
"I'm Hazel, nice to to meet you"

Hello everyone! This is finally the first story I'm actually happy with! I'm hoping this story will reach peoples attention! This still need a LOT of editing, but for now I'm just gonna focus on making the book! Thank you!
