Monday mornings. My favorite. I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring in my ear. As I look over to see if Ashley ever came in, I grab my vape from under my pillow and take a couple hits before doing anything else this morning.
Ashleys side of the bed is still empty, which is kind of a good thing because I woke up incredibly early and all of them had a late night. I grab a pair of sweatpants from her drawer and head over to the bathroom to do my business and get ready for the day. I like to get ready really early so that I can just chill for the rest of the time before I have to leave.
I wash my face with her face wash, seeing as though its all I have to use. I then grab Ashleys makeup and bring it to her room so I can play music while I do it. When I got to her room I grabbed my cart from under the pillow so I could get high before anyone else woke up. I just want a relaxing morning after last night. Not even last night, just yesterday as a whole.
I finished up my routine with my coffee, and I decided to drink it in her living room instead of her room. Ashleys dog was laying on the floor but she jumped up when I walked in and we sat on the couch for about an hour before I had to go wake everyone else up.
As I'm heading downstairs, I can't help but get caught up on the last event of last night. Who brought my hoodie up? I truly don't care, but it would at least be nice to know so I could thank them.
"Guys, time to wake up, y'all got 40 minutes," I turn on the light as I walk in, to hopefully help wake them up more.
"Turn off the fucking light, it's burning holes in my head," Maddie says from her spot on the couch.
"You're the ones who decided to drink on a school night, not me," I ignore the fact that I did indeed consume alcohol last night, but it wasn't enough to get me drunk, or even tipsy for that matter.
I walk over to Ashley and Gina, who haven't woken up in the slightest yet. Everyone else has started moving. Well, except Andrew, but fuck him.
"Hey, guys, its time to start waking up," I shake them both gently on the shoulders and they both start to sit up and groan about their hangovers.
I go back upstairs once I'm sure that all of them are moving and getting ready. I'm not gonna be the reason they're all late for first period.
When I got back to Ashley's room I took a few more hits off my cart, seeing as though theres now only 10 minutes before we have to leave and I'm anxious as fuck. I hate this. Nothing makes it stop. Weed helps but it doesn't totally get rid of it. My mom still hasn't gotten me an appointment with a phycologist so no medication yet. I also can't make an appointment myself because I'm still only seventeen.
"Hey," Ashley says as she walks in, "heyy..." she draws out playfully once she sees I'm using my cart. I smile at her and offer her some. It's okay for one person to use it but when it's more than one person only using one cart, it drains it so quickly.
I help her pick out an outfit quickly before we have to head out to our cars to get to school. I'm taking Gina and Ashley, because one, Gina didn't even drive here, and Ashley doesn't want to drive this early in the morning.
"Can you play suicide boys?" I hear AShley ask from behind me in the backseat.
"Yup, and I'm gonna stop by starbucks, you guys want your drinks and the food you guys get?" they both respond yes so I order their drinks ahead of time so that I can just go through the drive through. They always get the same drinks so that makes mornings less stressful. A little bit.
I get our drinks and their food from Starbucks, and we all take our last hits off of our vapes before turning into the school.
"God, this place just is hell," Gina says as I park in my spot.
