‘Shit. Holy. Fucking. Shit.’ Your mind is racing; you’re almost to the point of having a panic attack.’ What am I going to do?’ You think to yourself. You’re sitting on the edge of your bathtub with your head in your hands. ‘I can’t believe this..’.
You’ve been with Cam for an amazing 2 years now. It’s been hard but you both have made a vow to look past the distance and the hate from your parents. You’re parents love you very much, they’ve always told you to follow your heart. But once you did, they disowned you. They said they understood your love for music, they said they don’t care what you listen to as long as it keeps a smile on your face. Their only rule was “You cannot date a rock star. It’s unlikely, but it’s not good for you. We want you to have a stable life. Long distance relationships never work, believe me.” Your mother’s voice rings though your mind. Once they found out Cams career that was it. They tried to convince you to end things, but you weren’t going to give up on the one you love. Not for their happiness.
Now, at this moment you’re starting to think your mom was right. ‘is this right for me? Being with him?’ You shake your head, trying to get rid of those thoughts. YOU LOVE HIM! You yell to remind yourself. But how do you tell the news? What do you say? Will he be mad? All those questions ring though your mind as you sit there… staring down at that little pink plus sign on the ground.
