Episode 35: Sing for You

The whole school is celebrating the end of the old year and is ready to enter the new school year! You may know that a year break at college is not as long as the ones during high school. As the celebration of wrapping up the year ends of academics for the students, the school decides to host a charity concert as a fundraising event for one local orphan. Chaeyoung rocked last-year concert with his guitar and her angelic voice, so of course, she is invited to perform again this year, but she has a collab song with her senior, a well-known Kwon Jiyong.

[Concert Backstage]

"Chaeyoungie, are you ready for this?" says a man with long hair

"I will make it, right Sunbae?" Chaeyoung looks at him nervously... he taps her shoulder

"You will definitely nail it, Park Chaeyoung." Jiyong smiles at her soft and he looks at her back for someone "Your source of motivation is here" Chaeyoung turns her head to the back to look at what Jiyong is talking about... She sees a familiar figure... her lips form a smile... it's no other than giant Park Chanyeol who comes to cheer his girlfriend up...

"You're coming" Chaeyoung smiles ear to ear... Chanyeol put his hands on both her shoulders while lowering his head to match her height

"You will rock it, Chaeng! Don't worry too much" he smiles cheerfully at her "I will see you from the front stage, arasseo?" Chaeyoung nods and never stops smiling.

Chanyeol makes his way to his seat facing the stage to watch the performance. On his right hand is Sehun followed by Sooyoung, Joohyun, and Kyungsoo, while on his left is Baekhyun, followed by Jisoo and Junmyeon... So everyone is here (Yes, Kyungsoo is in this school too now)! From one to another performance is always fabulous with cheering and clapping sounds! But Chanyeol is only excitingly waiting for his beloved Chaeyoung's appearance.
"Finally, this performance is what everyone is waiting for..." MC hyperly announces "We have our nation's first crush of this school, Kwon Jiyong" everyone is screaming for his name and cheering nonstop... Chanyeol is smiling ear to ear knowing that his girlfriend will appear soon.

Jiyong is singing and rapping smoothly until a familiar angelic female voice rings up... and her appearance slowly shows on the stage...

Everyone is cheering louder since they know whose voice this is... Chanyeol cannot help but stand up from his seat as he heard her voice! Sehun pulls his hand as the sign to sit back down since he is too tall and blocks everyone at the back view LOL! Their voices are symmetric with the lyrics and melody... Chaeyoung's voice is just calming and unique... Chanyeol cannot stop smiling proudly because of Chaeyoung.

They finished their song. They both come to the front and bow to the audience before returning backstage.

"Please give a big round of applauding to our Jiyong and Chaeyoungie" MC announces and the crowd is chanting for them.

As the concert has ended, everyone starts leaving the venue one by one and there were fewer crowds now. Chanyeol, Junmyeon, Sehun, Baekhyun, Kyungsoo, and Jisoo are standing together at the corner waiting for the rest of the gang before leaving the venue as well. Suddenly, they see a small figure running towards them...

"Oppa, unnie, I cannot find Sooyoung at the restroom and I cannot contact her on the phone call as well." Joohyun takes a short breath as she was running toward the gang with the worrying face

"That's weird. She went to the restroom even before the concert wrapped up." Sehun exclaims

"Lemme call Chaeyoung if they are together," Chanyeol suggests and he picks up his phone from the pocket... he rings her a few times but cannot reach the line... "That's weird... I could not reach her phone. It says it is unavailable. Lemme find her backstage." Suddenly, their eyes catch Jiyong carrying his bag from the back... "Hyung!" Chanyeol calls Jiyong out loud and catches Jiyong's attention to turn to him... Jiyong walks toward them with a smile...

"Ahh you guys haven't left yet?" Jiyong asks and looks at all of them gathering together

"Did you see Chaeyoung at the back? I cannot reach her." Chanyeol looks at his phone as a sign that he called her

"She left for quite some time. I thought she left with you guys." All of them make a is stunned "I remember she was on the phone call when we rested and then her face turned pale and excused herself to leave first. I thought something urgent came up and she left with you guys." Jiyong adds and this makes the situation even worse.

"That's weird. She shouldn't have left without telling us anything, or even Chanyeol." Baekhyun says

"Otteokae! Both Sooyoung and Chaeyoung unnie are nowhere to be found or reached now." Joohyun worries even more... Junmyeon goes beside her and comforts her.

"Guys! Let's get out of here. I only know how to find Sooyoung now." Sehun suggests and everyone is looking at him with a weird face but agrees instantly since they need to find the Park sisters.
