I yawned, still half awake. Talia was doing her yoga exercises in the living room and my parents were yelling at me in the kitchen. I really wasn't in the mood to hear this.

"Piper and I just went out for a late night snack. That's all." I lied. I really couldn't get grounded. There was so much coming up over the next few weeks, and I couldn't miss any of it.

My mom groaned as she looked over at my Dad.

"I couldn't see who was driving the car.." My eyes lit up a little. Good.

My Dad groaned in frustration and I bit my lip.

"Well?" I asked hopefully.

"You have a curfew of 10 o'clock for the next 2 weeks." I bit the inside of my cheek to stop myself from smiling.

"And you have to come to lunch with us and the Buckners." I rolled my eyes.

"Fine.. When?" I looked down.

"Today. Be ready at noon." She nodded and followed my Dad out.

My eyes grew wide.

Shit.

Colson's POV

I tapped my phone against my hand and smacked my lips, looking around.

"Where the hell is she?" I figured she had to find a way to get away from her parents without finding out she was coming here to meet me. But I'm not sure.

"Kells!" Ash exclaimed from behind me. I turned and nodded my head at her.

"What?"

"You need to get in here. We have to get these last few songs recorded.

I groaned and smacked my lips again.

"Alright. I'll be right in." She pointed her finger at me.

"I'm coming!" I yelled. She scowled at me before going back inside. I sighed. I turned and walked into the studio and flicked on the switch, which turned on the light outside the door, No Entry

.~.~.~.~.

Gross. The Buckner's. They're the most stuck-up family I've ever met. And their son Brad doesn't make things any better. He's a total pervert. He tells girls that he's gonna inherit his families millions when he turns 18, and girls actually believe him.

In reality, he probably won't even move out when he turns 18, let alone inherit millions of dollars.

"Hi, Alice." That was Mrs. Buckner. She has blonde hair and hazel eyes. And they don't mix well.

"Hi Patty." My mother smiled as they walked off, leading the entire group to our private table in the back of the restaurant.

We were 30 minutes into dinner when I noticed Brad staring at me and licking his lips. Ew.

I shuddered and pulled out my phone, quickly going to mine & Colson's message folder and beginning to type.

"Sorry.. A family matter came up. I'll be there ASAP." I hit send and tucked my phone back in my purse.

"So Haydence," Patty started.

"What college are you planning on going to next year?" Everyone's eyes were now on me. I honestly hadn't even been thinking about college. It didn't even cross my mind.

"I was thinking about UCLA, maybe. Possibly even USC." I didn't earn an approving nod from anyone. "I just don't want to be too far from home." I quickly added. They quickly changed the subject.
