The Truth Of A Nightmare

Sana stood up in front of Fauna who both have shocked faces. One was blushing and her eyes were glowing. Fauna took a step and halted after seeing Sana takea step back. Sana thought Fauna was joking about being a yandere, but no. Fauna is standing right in front of her, hands with blood. Head bleading, clothes; especially her skirt are covered in blood.

It was at this moment, Sana didn't know Fauna. Where did her caring and loving mother nature? What made the Kirin do this? Why? Questions filled Sana's mind more. Who is this? Fauna tried to speak and explain herself, but Sana interrupted. Sana is too innocent to see such things. Even if she had lived since the beginning and saw humans come and go.

Sana took a step back and tripped. She woke up with bullet of sweat, a hard grip on the bed sheet. Then Fauna came in her room with a tray of breakfast. An innocent smile on the kirin's face made Sana doubt it was her. From such nightmare, Sana couldn't maintain eye contact with mother nature.

After all of those years, hundred, thousands or even billions of years, that was the nightmare that made Sana doubt Fauna. Is this even her? What's behind that innocent smile? Fauna made her way deeper into Space's room with her smile fading into a frown. A concerned face looked at Sana.

Fauna put her hand on Space's forehead, but she wasn't sick. Sana's eyes looked like she saw a ghost, Fauna can tell. With Sana's mouth slightly open, Fauna could hear her breathing heavily. She had a nightmare the Kirin thought. She asked what the nightmare was about but Sana couldn't begin.

Her nightmare is so clear for her to remember. She even felt like she could smell the rotten flesh of the dead body from the nightmare. The posture of the body sitting against the wall, the other laying on the ground and another one who was still half alive but suffocating from the knife on his neck. Then, his head was pulled by gravity, now dead.

Fauna touched Sana's face, she was startled. Sana didn't want to be touched by Fauna at the moment. The Kirin's hand was cold that it gave Sana the thought of Fauna who just came back from a crime. Sana turned her head away, losing herself, drowning in the scary thoughts. Her innocent mind can't take it. Sana stood up and left Fauna in the room to the kitchen.

Fauna was confused by her actions. She wondered what the nightmare was about. She felt an eye on her. Someone was watching but she can't see it. Who is it? A tired look of a woman floated from the ground and stared against the window where she can see Fauna just fine, looking paranoid.

Fauna followed Sana at the kitchen who is now drinking water. Fauna gave Space a hug from behind which startled Sana. Space turned her head to Nature with a sweat drop on her face. Fauna asked once again, what's the nightmare about. Sana took a breath and turned to hug Nature back.

"...Is it a joke?..." asked Sana.

"What joke...?" asked Fauna.

Sana told her about the nightmare and as she does, Fauna froze in her place. How can an innocent God dream about such things? Has Fauna been too obvious? Did she leave any trace that Sana saw and now she dreamed about it? Fauna was sure that she left no trail. She replaced the knife with new ones and Sana didn't even seemed to notice, so, what made her dream about it?

"Fauna?..." Sana called.

Fauna snapped out from the thoughts then looked at Sana in the eyes, trying to look as innocent as she can.

"Maybe you're just tired from your duties, that's why you had that..." said Fauna.

Trying to reason out.

"So it's true..." said Sana, her voice shaking.

There, stood up Fauna at an alleyway near the bakery where she was caught in person by her best friend. In front of her is Sana who is in deep shock. Maybe the dream was a sign of the truth for this moment. It was like a signal for Sana to make Fauna stop. But how?

"Why...?" asked Sana.

It hit Fauna. Her heart pounded like it wanted to come out. At this moment, the rose bouquet laid on the ground, now with blood on it. Fauna wanted to meet up with Sana to go out a d hang out. But it failed. Fauna took the bouquet, and took steps to get near Sana. Sana's heart was racing faster with every step the Kirin takes.

Fauna offered the bouquet to Space, even if she had blood on her hands. The other hand grabbed lightly in Space's forearm to her hand and locking them together.

"...No jokes, these guys like you and it makes me jealous... Sana..." said Fauna then paused.

Closing their faces together.

"...Sana, after billions of years, I realized how much I didn't notice I have feelings for you... Right now, I want to ask you..." Fauna glared to Sana's lips.

Feeling the shaking breath of space.

"...Could you please forever be mine?" asked Fauna.

Sana's heart skipped a beat. That's it, her long life crush confessed to her but the fact that Fauna killed people hurts her. She now has mixed emotions.

"Why... Why did you kill them?..." asked Sana shakily. Her hands wrapped on Fauna's waist to keep their balance.

"I don't want to be jealous. I don't want to look like a mistress. I want you to be only mine~ Mine... ~" said Fauna.

"You didn't have to kill them... You're the only one I've loved in my entire existence... I-... I'm yours, FauFau..." said Sana.

Fauna grinned and closed their gap. It was short, Fauna wanted more so she leaned in for more and made it longer and passionately. Suddenly, the thoughts of dead bodies flew after their first ever kiss.

"I love you..." whispered Fauna as she try to catch her breath.

"I- I love you too, FauFau...~" said Sana.

"But please, clean them up first before someone sees us—" she added.
