Chapter 7 - Rescue Me

??? P.O.V.

I was still curious if sending the rose was a good choice on my part. I mean, she only just moved to this school! Was it really love or was it just infatuation I was feeling? I gathered my school materials off the desk and walked down the hall to where her locker was and that's exactly where she was. I opened my locker and swung the door wide open so she reflected in the locker mirror and I looked at her with a smile, why was she so much like me? Why was she so beautiful? Would she ever even consider us as 'more than friends'? I'll have to try and became good friends with her, maybe that'll help.

SKYLAR'S P.O.V.

It was now almost 4 as I started to get ready for this stupid blind date my cousin was setting me up with. I hope both me and my date just agree this is the most stupidest thing to come on this date and we can't just laugh at how stupid it is. I stared at the rose someone had given me hoping something would click and I would know who it was from, but I had nothing. Just as the doorbell rang my cousin walked in and greeted me.

"Are you ready?!" She asked excited and I nodded with a smile although I was ready to gag. We got in her car and drove until we reached someone's house in which I would guess its her boyfriend Grant's house.

"So you're date's name is Felix," she reminded me as we walked into the house and saw dumbass Grant with another one of his emo-looking friends that I wasn't really impressed with. The guy came over and greeted me.

"The name's Felix. Felix Rodgewood. Feel free to call Felix or the man of your wildest dreams," he greeted me. Did he think he was James Bond or what? I rolled my eyes and shook his hand.

"My names Skylar," I introduced, not being enthusiastic about it like he was. Felix and I were talking in a room on our own and I could tell Kelly and Grant kept trying to walk in on us to see if we were making out or not.

"So tell me about yourself Felix," I told him, clearly not interested as I was trying to make our two new text messages out for Nathan and Louis.

- "Someone come tie me to a pole and shoot me? S x" I sent. I sat my phone in my lap as I continued to listen to Felix's rant.

"So I'm in the band with Grant, and I play the drums in band and-" I listened to nothing after that as I heard my phone buzz and I picked it up.

"And for what reason would I do that? :) Loux"

- "I'm on a blind date. :P" I replied back to Louis. Then I got a reply from Nathan.

"Where are you anyways? I went over to your house but Cole said you weren't home? Nathx"

- "I'm on the worst blind date possible, ready to kill myself. x" I tried to listen to Felix's rant about himself but to be honest Grant's band "Thee Unknownss" suck. It might've been better if they stayed unknown.

"Give me the address and I'll come save you? ;) Loux" I smiled at the text and typed back.

- "PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE!! well, not to be desperate but that would be nice. ;) S x" I replied along with the address before hanging in and talking between Felix and texting Nathan some more. I got a text again and it was from Louis telling me he was outside waiting. I quickly slipped the phone into my pocket eagerly and stopped Felix in mid-sentence.

"Look Felix, you're a nice guy and all but I think we should remain friends. I have to go also, bye!" I told him as I ran out of the room and out the front door where Louis was leaning up against a black Porsche smiling.

"This is your car?" I asked looking at it with wide eyes.

"Yeah, it's nothing really. Now lets go before someone finds out you left!" He reminded me as I climbed into the passenger seat and he got in the drivers and drove off.

"I never knew you could drive either," I pointed out in which he laughed.

"I recently got my level 2 license to drive on, but it feels good," he admitted as kept on driving.

"Did they let you eat over there or can I get you something?" He asked. I shook my head no and laughed.

"I didn't have anything to eat there but I can go home and eat, you don't have to buy me anything," I told him and he shrugged before stopping to get some gas (petrol). He walked inside to pay for the gas and came back out with a white plastic bag and got in the car before handing it to me and smiling. I looked in the bag to see at least three big candy bars and three bags of chips.

"Really Louis? I told you you didn't have to get me anything!" I laughed and he laughed also.

"I would've felt bad if I kicked you out with no food though!" He complained as we drove the rest of the way to my house as I directed him. He pulled up in the driveway and parked before looking at me.

"Thanks for rescuing me from boredom, and for the food," I told him.

"No problem," he replied. I got out of his Porsche and walked a few steps away before I heard a car horn honk from behind me. I walked back towards his car with a questioning look as he rolled down his window.

"So I'll see you at school tomorrow?" He asked.

"Of course," I replied as I walked back towards the house.

You're probably all thinking that this should be a Nathan/Louis fanfic, it won't. Louis will play a big role at some points but he's not a main character. :)

I WILL ALSO UPLOAD THIS ON MONDAYS NOW! Just because its easier for me. ;)
