Chapter 1: The Meeting

Kaname's POV

Every vampire noble or pureblood sooner or later finds their one and only mate. Sadly for me I haven't found mine. Well I have a lot of time being a pureblood and all, but I am 18 going to be 19 soon. If I don't find a mate soon I'll be stuck with Yuki. Don't get me wrong I love my sister, but not in that type of way. I only havr brothely love toward her. Plus she can be a brat sometimes......make that all the time. Ugh me thinking about wanting a mate makes me hungry. I grab a glass from the cabinet, filled it with water then dropped a few blood tablets into the water. Not even letting the tablet completely dissolve. I chugged down the red liquid. It wasn't enough to stop hunger, but I'll be fine.
"Kaname time to go!" Yuki yelled.
Damn she is annoying. I hope she doesn't have to be my wife. I sighed then made my way from the kitchen to the front door. Time to start my life at Cross Academy....hopefully I find my mate.
*A week later*
Well since I've started living in Cross Academy's Moon Dorm. My hungier keeps returning no matter how many blood tablets I take. Does this mean my mate is at this Academy? Just not in the Moon Dorm? I need to go for a walk. It's doesn't okay because it is the weekend and I finished most of my paper work already done.
*Outside in the forest area*
While I was walking through the campus forest area. My hunger starts taking over me, but it was stronger than ever. I must be getting closer to my mate. As the thoughts raced through my mind. Someone or more like some girl fell off a tree branch and landed in front of me on her ass. Without realizing it I licked my lips. Mine.....she will be....no she is mine. The girl stood up and wiped her bare leg. Her back was to me so it was no surprise she hasn't noticed me yet. She was wearing a tight mini jean skirt showing off her perfect round ass. Damn it I think my pants are getting tight from just looking at it. It didn't take long for the girl to finally realize I was behind her. She turned around and looked at me. Her left blue eye was the only one showing while her right eye had a patch covering it. Is she blind in that eye or something? I couldn't think about that too long. My heart was pounding like crazy.
"Hello there.....you must be Kaname Kuran" she said in a sweet voice. I compose myself before answering.
"Yes I am and who might you be?" I asked. She pushed her long chestnut hair behind the ear before parting her lips.... Oh how I badly want to kiss her. "I'm Leo Katana" she said. Katana....family? Have I heard of them? Leo only gave me a sweet smile then walked off toward the Sun dorm. I hope I get to see her again. I head back to my dorm room. Without even knowing someone was watching us the whole time..........
