Your ears are ringing and you slowly open your eyes.

Everything's so bright and overwhelming.

you're in a hospital bed and beside you is someone you've never met.

They explain that they're your uncle, and you've been in a coma for 3 years.

They tell you that everyone that knows you is happy that you're awake.

you're released from the hospital and are driving home with your uncle.

You look out the window to see a pale blue sky and green trees' roots that seep into the dirt below.

Water collects in the sky like a large floating lake with branches of water flowing out of it, and fish hopping from it.

Clouds are scattered about the sky.

You pull into an unfamiliar driveway and look up at a beautiful yellow house.

There are windows everywhere but one that specifically piques your interest is the window at the very top of the house

You think you can see a tall figure through the round window at the very top, but brush it off.

Your uncle guides you inside where you are greeted by your mother and father.

"My baby!" your mother's eyes light up as she walks over to you, extending her arms.

She clamps onto you and gives you a tight squeeze.

You can feel something wet on the back of your neck.

She lets go and grabs your face to get a good look at you.

"You've grown so much.." she says tearing up once again.

You look at the man behind her, your father, and he smiles at you.

"My boy!" he says in a loud, deep voice.

He hugs you and pats your back roughly.

Your mother tells you that your friends will be coming over to see you in a few hours and that you should go ahead to your room at the top of the house.

You wave goodbye to your uncle and your mother points to a set of white stairs that loop up.

you climb up the stairs to the second floor where you find another set of more narrow stairs. 

When you get to the top, you turn the warm metal doorknob to find a neat and well-kept room.

to the right, you see a wooden desk with bookshelves on both sides. 

Apparently, you enjoyed reading.

In your closet hung far too many clothes.

Your overhead light gave off a warm, orangish glow.

Your bed was elevated above the ground on metal legs with rabbit sheets, quilts, and large warm and fluffy blankets at the bottom.

An adorable little pink bunny plush sits in front of your pillow.

You hold the bunny and it feels very soft.

 You look at its leg where a note attached to it says,

"Forever and ever. I'll never change no matter what."

it felt comforting somehow. 

You held the bunny in your arms, close to your face, and closed your eyes.
