"Do you enjoy my company?"

"I don't." I do. Somewhere.

"Yeah? Why don't you go inside then?"

"I can do whatever I like. Also, I used to do this before your stupid-ass came here all of a sudden."

". . ."

Yeah, look at me as if this is the first time in your entire life that you have ever seen a normal person.

"What about we do one thing, huh?" He suggests.

"Like minding our own business, for example, will do." I butt in.

"We will get there in a minute." He smiles.
Nothing I do seems to offend him, and I always end up being the one who is irritated.

"It appears that you have a lot of free time on your hands lately," He said, stepping forward. I wrinkled my brow at that. I don't have as much spare time as he portrays. But I wanna see where he takes this.

"What about we play a small, tiny, harmless game?"

"What are you? Five?" I split in sarcasm. He giggles at my words.

Oh my God, how I wish I could get a glimpse of his eyes when he smiles, but his eminence has chosen to cover his eyes today. Ass...

"If I get inside your room, you will go on a date with me." He smirked, removing his blindfold.

I raised my head and narrowed my gaze. "Haha, very funny," I began, scoffing at him. "You won't do that. You can't do that."

"What if I did it?" He looks at me with that blue eyes I can dive into. He puts the blindfold inside his pocket.

"There's no way you can do that without my mom getting involved and kicking your ass out of here."

"Who said I will be using the door?"

As much as I don't like the evil smile blooming on his lips, I fear he has something else in his mind.

Is he going to climb his way up here?

There's no way he will do that.

"Yeah, maybe you just have a dumb habit of speaking too much." I gave him one last look before clicking my tongue and going inside my room.

Sometimes bullshit gets so out of hand that it's best to put an end to it on your own.

Also, on one thought-

Did he actually mean that when he said about that date?

It's not like I am going.

"There's no need." I shook my head while shrugging my shoulder.

I don't use my senses that often. But it's telling me something.

Well

I sense a presence behind me. And I seriously won't be surprised if he is behind me.

"You are a man of your word," I said, a small smile forming on my lips as I leaned against my glass door. No matter how tough I try to be, this is me at the end of the day. I cocked my head to take a glimpse of him.

"Yes, I am."

Maybe, my fear really turned into reality. And I am holding that fear on this lock. Can locking the door really save me from that fear? It won't.

As I remained still, I could feel him gently slipping down the glass door.

He seems worn out now that I've noticed it.

"So, you won't go on a date with me?" He spoke abruptly, and I jerked back.

"You already know the answer." I firmly grasped the door handle.

"So you wanna go?"

Although I can't see it, I'm sure he's grinning smugly. I can't do anything except roll my eyes.

"Is this what I get?" He asks.

"It's normal for you."

"Hahaha, you are right. It's normal for me."

I swallowed the lump in my throat. I hope he doesn't notice how shaky my voice is getting. Even breathing becomes challenging when he draws nearer. He makes me feel like he knows everything. My everything.

My hold on the door handle gradually dries up, and the door swings open on its own. Although only a portion of his body was leaning against the door, the other portion was against the wall. He doesn't even care to look at me.

I knelt down behind him.

He smells good.

Upon noticing it, he slide eyes me for a brief second.

"20 minutes." I declared, causing him to face me.

"What?"

I sighed.

"I will give you 20 minutes." I began, "for your date. And not a single minute above that."

The silent creeps in. He just stares at me in awe.

" Pff-

He laughed loudly, which caused me to slump on my ass and just sit there and observe him in silence.

I couldn't help but smile a little when he laughed like that. He has a nice laugh when he doesn't forces it like he normally does.

"Did you give me 20 minutes right now for a date ?" He asks when his laugh dry out.

I nod.

"On this terrace of yours?"

I nod.

"20 minutes on this terrace?"

I nod. "Your time start-

Before I could complete my sentence he grabs my wrist and pulls me towards him.

"20 is fine." He murmurs as he shuts the door as well.

My breathing stopped when he rest his head on my shoulder.

"Today was a rough day. You should relax as well." He says, touching my forehead.

I didn't had a headache today nor a shoulder ache. I was alright, but I felt sleepy after he touched my forehead.

And, my head fell against his head on the spot. There's no second thought.

There's nothing to regret after this because it's already too late.
